Surprised by all the five star reviews. I love good Mexican food, but this was not good. The food was mediocre, the flavors were lacking. The service was slow and hectic. The prices were also high. We tried several appetizers and mains and left feeling disappointed - and confused by why this was so highly reviewed - don’t expect too much.

Fantastic food and drinks, this place really hits that niche of authentic elevated sit down Mexican without being too fancy, expensive, or formal. A go to for a meal with friends in the area.

It is a 5 star restaurant. My meal was fresh and the taste was impeccable also the atmosphere was clean not a spec of dirt. It was my best experience in a restaurant this is now my favorite restaurant! My daughter Layla

The food was delicious. I had the tuna crudo, the queso fundido apps and the braised beef short rib for my entree. I would highly recommend the three dishes.

The service at this place was outstanding. They were quick, kind, and attentive. The gentleman who helped us went above and beyond with his service. He whipped up a spectacular cocktail before our food came out. When our food came out, which didn't take long after ordering, it was plated very elegantly and it had excellent flavor to follow. I would recommend the soyrizo enchiladas smothered in green sauce not just to the vegetarians that visit this place.

Vegetarian options: There were several options for vegetarians. Not limited to one item.

Nice and cozy, great Mexican food from Oaxaca. More than just tacos and burritos. Friendly service, Pedro can guide you through the menu and take good care of your needs. Frida coffee is an experience not to be missed

Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be made for vegetarian needs, ask Pedro

Have wanted to try this place for a while. Came when it opened at 4pm and ate exclusively off the HH menu. Everything was top notch: tostada topped w chapulines, cheese and mushroom empanada (freshly made and fried), chips & guacamole, margaritas. The quality was amazing. I’ve been to Oaxaca and ate my way around that town & wasn’t disappointed. Service from Pedro was excellent. Will definitely return.

Try the street tacos with pork and pineapple salsa. The beef one was good too, the other street taco options look scrumptious and you can mix and match. Amazing fresh barbecue taste took me back to attending home BBQs over mesquite wood in south Texas. Innovative menu combinations. Beautiful presentation. Lots of vegetarian options.

Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian as is on menu and can modify for vegan.

An overall solid experience. The mole has a good depth of flavor and ceviche was nice. Tamales themselves were a bit dry and other elements were not as good for me.

Had the chilaquiles verde with chicken and a Oaxacan burrito, both were delicious. The service was friendly. Tried the Frida latte and loved it.
