ok this is one of the best izakayas i’ve ever been to… the hamachi was buttery soft and melted in your mouth & the sauces were sooo perfectly paired with the proteins! the chicken skewers were moist and juicy. it was pretty pricey with 4 appetizers coming out to ~$65 with tip. pretty small place with only seating for max like a party of 4.

Great ramen and The brussel sprouts are a delicious surprise for us and we think it's a must have. Agedashi tofu is amazing too. We didn't expect the wait time to be short while the food was so amazing.

This place is so quaint, friendly and some of the best food in the city. Well worth eating there and well worth picking up. I really wish there was a delivery service I could use to pick up orders for me. Want really good food? No need to go further than Tanika Izakaya ???
