Unfortunately, they started well, but have gone downhill pretty quickly. Expensive, and you don't get free chips. If you order a side of Guac, it costs seven bucks, and it's in a tablespoon container.

Let me first start off by saying that I have been to this spot since it first opened because it is nearby but have never felt the need to write a review until recently.
This is SF's top 3 Super Burrito. I have been to every taqueria you can possibly think of and I am confident especially the past 3-5 times ive been here in the past 2 months.
The consistency that I have been getting is amazing and they have a good balance of texture. The only real different thing they do is they add lettuce which I personally don't mind and kind of like since it adds a little freshness. Obviously you must get refried beans.
I don't write reveiws often if ever, but I felt the need to since I am very impressed recently and this place deserves more since it can be a hard location to get to. But if you are nearby I'll say this is the best Burrito you can get on San Bruno. I'll be back!

Update: I love this place so much; today unfortunately marks the second day theyve made my order wrong. I ordered over the phone this time my typical, and they gave me a burrito with beans, rice, some kind of meat, and sour cream. Last time I ordered in person and they added just rice. This time they charged me for this burrito even though its not what I ordered, and I was yoo busy with work to go back and reorder. I will try one more time and if its incorrect again, im going to find a new taqueria sadly. Marking down service to a 2 for the incorrect orders, and total 5 stars to 3 stars.
My go to is a refried beans burrito with cheese and sour cream - basic, I know, but you'd be surprised that some places just don't make good ones. Katrinas definitely serves up a good bean cheese sour cream burrito though, with a creamy texture and hearty flavor. The cook that handed me my burrito also gave me a super spicy yummy habanero salsa when I asked for red sauce. Both the red salsas were deliiiicious. I also snagged a chocolate cake slice which is the perfect meal cap. The cake was super moist. Will be back! Only thing that would prevent me from going here would be finding parking or not.

I slept on this place for way too long. Delicious and flavorful food. The ceviche is incredible and smoky. The fish tacos were also so yummy. 😋

Been here a few times over the years and they just can't seem to get orders right.
Ordered a burrito with steak, beans, rice, cheese, no salsa. They said and we confirmed, no salsa. They put salsa in it anyway.
Since cheese is literally made of pure gold in bay area taquerias, this burrito with a can of coke was $18.50
Hard pass from now on.

Moist, big piece of impressive chocolate cake, for about $6.50. Worth it. Decent Carne Asada Super Burrito with salsa and chips for $15

This place is terrible. The chips aren’t very good. I ordered an enchilada plate - one beef, one cheese. The beef one was ok (although it was cold in a spot in the middle). The cheese enchilada wasn’t even warm; the cheese hadn’t melted. It was like eating a handful of Mexican shredded cheese mix from Costco right out of the package. The beans could use some flavor and the rice was passable. There are too many good places to eat in this hood. I’ll go to taqueria Gonazalez from now on.

Decently priced. My husband and I got the quesabirria and super relleno burrito. The quesabirria was chonky and stuffed and the relleno had a really good cheese pull. Service went by quickly. Really dig the aesthetic of the place too.

You will be astounded when you
enter this restaurant, despite the
unattractive exterior (plenty of noise, traffic, and difficulty finding
parking). Thus, don't let the location
fool you.
This eatery resembles a museum.
You would think it would be best
to stay there for as long as possible
because everything is tastefully
done. The food is delicious. Also, I had the opportunity to stroll about and assess the quality of this lovely
restaurant because I arrived in the
middle of the day when not many
people were around. As a result, I was very satisfied with the environment inside the restaurant. Finally, the service is excellent and the costs are
reasonable. Highly recommend!!!
