This place was so confusing to find because nowhere on the outside does it say Taqueria El Buen Sabor. Instead, you'll only find the reference inside the restaurant on their menu. The outside still says San Marcos and the employee I talked to still refers to the restaurant that way. So, I'm still confused about what it really is. I walked in on a late afternoon on Sunday so I understand if there were few customers on an off peak hour. The area also didn't seem to be a place that got a lot of traffic. I got tacos with Al pastor, lengua, and tripa. The overall flavor was tasty albeit oily as the tortillas were definitely soaked in a lot of oil. The lengua and tripa both had good texture but lacked flavor. Al pastor was just plain dry and didn't come with pineapple. Was fun to try and this place has great potential. Just need to shore up the flavor of meat better.

Bargain price, no frills but clean sit down or takeaway vert tasty Mexican food! Also have great home made sauces which they sell. There is a queue to enter (a small fast moving one) and once you taste the food you'll know why!

I ordered a super quesadillas with shrimp and I was not expecting 1. portion was huge 2. tasty and delicious not as salty as other places. 3. price was fair. I let my niece tried and asked if she can come here to order other dishes. I will definitely come back next week and recommend to people in this neighborhood.

Food was warm but could've been more hot temperature wise. Horchata was trash and I wanted to at least exchange it for something different and the lady tried flipping it on me by saying, if I ask for it why do I want to exchange, after I told her it wasn't good, she told me no. EL FARLITOS is way better. Better service too.

This tiny place makes the greatest food. Rarely in 25 years living in SF have I chosen another taqueria so good.

I ordered the special, chicken pepian. It was served nice and hot with rice and salad, very tasty and not much of a wait.

Got a carnitas baby burrito and it was the perfect size and perfect portion of everything you need in a burrito. Everything is made fresh and right out the kitchen. The carnitas was super fire and crispy
