The food here is very good. The only reason for the 3 star service is because I ordered a shrimp and carne asada burrito with tomatillo salsa(I ordered in Spanish). Somehow, I ended up with a a steak and shrimp burrito with melted cheese and grilled vegetable inside which I did not ask for. I repeated the order to make sure they got it right and they confirmed. The food is still amazing.

Still the original!! One of the best kept secrets in the Mission. The food was authentic and delicious. I highly recommend you pay this place a visit.Parking: You can park in the lot right behind it. Or pay at a spot in a metered space.

My first time in Taq. Guad. was a good experience. Was visiting San Fran and my buddy that lives there loves the place. I had the regular chicken tacos, which were very good and authentic (which I don't get in Milwaukee, as you can imagine). The decor was fun inside... cool little diorama scenes colorfully painted.(They also have fresh cut radishes on their salsa bar... which made me VERY happy... as I'm painfully addicted to radishes ?) I would definitely suggest sticking your head in there and trying it.

I like to eat there but last night I went and asked the cashier for 2 tacos, one asada and one tripe and she didn't listen and a half of carnitas instead of asada. And I went and asked him what that taco was and he responded very rudely. For carnitas, yes, that's what you asked me for and I told him what roast I wanted and he didn't pay any attention to me... very bad, the customer will always be right

Very aggressive and unfriendly employees, narcissists. Dirty establishment with poor hygiene. I will not set foot here again and will not recommend it to others.

So disappointed. The last 5 times I've ordered burritos here...they didn't put any pico de gallo. I even decided to order this last time through UberEats because I thought maybe they misunderstood me. I marked extra tomatoes. There aren't any. It tastes good but it would be better if it had the pico de gallo.

I had the late night munchies and this was one of the few spots that were open, so I decided to Postmates from here. I ended up ordering a regular burrito from here, which comes with a choice of meat (I had carne asada), rice, beans, salsa, and onions. Although the regular burrito is smaller than the super burrito, the regular one was still decently sized--it was large enough for me and my husband to share. The burrito itself was also really enjoyable. I wouldn't say it's the best burrito I've had or anything mind blowing, but it's a super solid and satisfying late night option.

You can order ahead and I recommend you do so you don't need to wait too long. Oftentimes they get busy and don't pick up the phone the first one - three times you call, but just try again.I recommend their cabeza if that doesn't gross you out. It's very tender and juicy. They have a few parking spots in the back for pickup but the entrance is slightly hard to see.The location is relatively clean and typical for this genre.Parking: Enter from Mission. It's a shared lot with the housing units above and only had like 3 spots reserved for this location while the remaining spots are reserved for the residents. The spots are used as takeout only spots to pick up your order and leave. I think it's frowned upon to take the spots and dine in.

I also have been a customer here for a long time but I don't think I can order from Guadalajara anymore. I almost never receive the chips I order and today I ordered enchiladas and Uber delivered a burrito with a ton of fat mixed in with the meat. It's gross. I'm throwing it out. I really loved this place for decades. How sad.

I hate to give two stars, and sad that this is my first review because I have always been going here over El Farolito; I have been a regular customer. I only go to El Farolito if my friends want it over La Guadalajara. But I always go here for my own personal preference for a good burrito. But today, I probably won't come again because they forgot to put shrimp in my super shrimp burrito. I was a little confused because they never miss. I even checked the receipt I left in the bag to see if this was my order. And it was my order. I also tipped well at this spot every time, but just eating this burrito was so disappointing. The shrimp was supposed to be the anchor of the whole dish that I wanted, but instead, I just ate the rice and beans. I'm going to El Farolito instead!
