I got the vegan burrito with veggies and refried beans (which the cashier said were vegan). It was all very delicious, and the price was the best I’ve seen for a Bay Area burrito.

I’m always happy to see an otherwise authentic Mexican place serve vegan options. This place was good except that the vegan burrito I was served had sour cream and cheese. I’m glad that I was paying attention while they made it because my order was to go. I said something when they handed me my food and the guy who made it swore that he had made a vegan burrito. We checked and they made me another one. The burrito was good otherwise. The salsas, especially the green one, were very spicy so proceed accordingly. Updated from previous review on 2025-05-26

I like that a classic Mission taqueria at least knows what vegan means, and it's a good veggie burrito, but I wish they would have some vegan protein options and vegan cheese and sour cream. It really wouldn't be that hard. So I got a vegan fajita burrito and the fajita veggies were fresh and crunchy but it just didn't quite hit without (vegan) sour cream. Theoretically they offer falafel too.

I hadn't been to this place since I moved from the City back in 2001, and it was just as good yesterday as it was back then! Made my heart and belly smile! Great food, great service, and wonderful atmosphere! Can't wait to visit again! Thank you for maintaining part of San Francisco! ?

Worst Mexican food ever have in my life does not taste like a burrito never seen any body grill the burrito after they fill it up. It taste like cooked tomato on the inside very horrible.

A few weeks ago my partner and I went to the Mission District. I was craving one of the best Burritos in the world. Mission District-style burritos are unique, huge, and packed full of meat. and VERY delicious. La Cumbre is the birthplace of this awesome burrito. You can't get anything like it in Sacramento. It was worth the two-hour trip. I ordered 3 and took them home along with some other delicious food. They make an awesome Lime Margarita to go! If you're craving delicious Mexican food, especially the famous BURRITO, San Francisco is worth the trip.

Great food with generous portion.
Some big tables have an uncomfortable design and you cant sit happily. Choose the small tables!

This is the best burrito in town. Grilled fresh right after you order. The owners are always there, and are the nicest people.

I ordered the vegan fajitas plate and was quickly served a delicious assortment of very tasty ingredients. Excellent quantity and quality for the price!
