Been in the bay area since 2018 but mostly North bay and I always talk trash about the Mexican food in the bay and it being mediocre. This restaurant has restored my faith in good Mexican food in Sf. I’m normally a Torta guy 😉 but being hung over I got a shrimp cocktail and two carne asada tacos. The tacos got to my table in no time and had the cutest presentation along with the chips. But cuteness aside they were delicious. Tons of flavor and the salsa with the chips was on point. My shrimp Cocktail was fresh and delicious and brought me back to life. Had a cold coke in a glass bottle to wash it down and before I realized it I had a little knee bob going on. That food gave me some pep in my step. Haha My only complaint is don’t come in extremely hung over and dine in as theres a pool table thats kinda loud. But all good!

I don’t even wanna bring this up because I don’t want it to get too busy but I’d be remiss not bring it up. They have a green pozole with chicken they make that is absolute fire. Usually takes about 10 minutes to make and my lord is it flavorful. It is now my wife and I’s go to spot. AND I DON’T EVEN LIKE GREEN POZOLE. I’m ride or die red but I’m happy to be stood corrected by their green pozole. Go try it… just not when I want it.
