The raw fish is the best in SF. No one plates sushi better than Tony. Mike gets the best fish, and it's always fresh.

Kid-friendliness: Families eat herewith their kids

Wheelchair accessibility: Table sitting allows wheelchair access

Really hidden gem. We shared miso soup, various fresh sushis and rolls and everything was super fresh tasting and flavorful. The service was excellent, and the prices are very affordable. Worth the trip. Free tea!

Outdated, dirty, sticky, smelly restaurant. Looks like they haven't changed a thing since the 1990's! All the sushi rolls fell apart. The sushi rice has too much vinegar and sugar. I witnessed a female employee walking while carrying a plate of fried chicken in her left hand and eating one piece in her right hand. It wasn't a pretty sight.

The food is great, service is not good. We ask at 5 times for a cup of water. Ask for napkins but never come. I need to walk to the counter to get napkins for myself. I probably will get to go instead dine in .

I loved this restaurant, the food was super delicious, you can see the quality of their products, it has a very good menu and above all excellent flavors, the place is average although you could tell that they were full of work because it was super full, but the staff, however Very friendly, very polite and excellent service I would definitely return.

Good food. Great service. Bit of a dive. Limited selection of beer and wine. Hot sake bottle came in a tub of hot water to keep it hot. Friendly place.

Okazu ya has been around for decades. While it has been a number of years since the last time I visited, it remains as solid as I remember. This is a truly neighborhood go to for Japanese bento.
