Good food. Too simple for pricing though. Too greasy for my taste. Too loud due to the architecture I think. They don’t have free wifi. Kind of a shame when you pay 60+ for a breakfast for 2

The mushroom grilled cheese was pretty good but veggie quiche was underwhelming, especially for the price. Pourover coffee was nearly undrinkable. Very loud inside.

Super good croissant and the pastry was so nice. There is usually a line here but they try to serve you fast. Try to come during afternoon and it would be no line. Environment is bright and relaxing.

Best cappuccino I had in San Francisco. The salmon tartine was fantastic. I loved the pickled lemon peel. It was busy but tables turned over quite quickly and food was delivered quickly as well.

Great place easy in neighborhood parking, close to the park for a walk.
Put the menus at the entrance of the line, so we all know what great breakfast etc they serve.

Long waiting (25 min) for a sandwich / salad, bad ingredients. And not as much choice as another tartine i did last year

They make the best chopped salad, five stars! Overall, four stars because they don't answer the phone or return phone calls when their greeting message says to leave a message. Upon arrival to order take out, they said weekends are too busy to answer the phone. I get that, but then, they should change their message so it doesn't infer they will call you back. Btw, the smoked salmon avocado toast is also fantastic!

Food was excellent, vibe great. No outlets/wifi. Had the soft scramble tartine and added smoked salmon and an Arnold Palmer.

Tartine is a bit of a victim of its own success. When I visited (Saturday afternoon), it was very crowded, to the point where the atmosphere of the place suffers, with the order queue flowing around diners sitting at their tables.
As always, the service and their bread and pastries were excellent.

Pastries were pretty good. Place overall is very overpriced considering the quality. However, service was kind enough to remake a latte to iced.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian pastries available.
Parking: Hard to find street parking, very busy and high traffic area.
