The morning bun has to be one of the best pastries i have ever had. It is layered in soft flaky layers that is stuck together with a caramel glaze that reminds me of the crystallization that happens at the bottom of a good cinnamon role.
It is just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. Sometimes people sace the center of the cookie or role because it's the best but it was amazing all the way through.
The cold brew was good but didn't stand out quite as much. It was solid but didn't have any lingering flavors after so it was just a solid base cold brew in my book.
The service was fast and friendly with the line going super quickly. The atmosphere as warm with large ceilings and big windows that welcom you in.
An added bonus is that it's in an area where parking isn't impossible so we found a spot pretty quickly.
Overall amazing spot for pastries!

I had opera cake to go. Have heard a lot about this bakery but that the opera cake was a bit crumbly. Looking forward to visit again and try more things

Simply love this place! If you’re a bread lover, this is a must go!
We had breakfast here on a Tuesday noon and it was really relaxing and not busy at all.
We ordered a turkey sandwich, the warm bread and butter and an avocado tartine. Everything was just soooo delicious and mouthwatering - incredible! Also the atmosphere was really cool with its industrial style. I’d always choose this place!!

I love this place. Even when they are busy, the service is smooth, and the lone moves fast. You can usually find a spot to sit down too. The food is good, they clean the tables quickly, and there are many options. I highly recommend this place for consistently high quality of service. Continue doing the great work!

Order at the front and pay. The smell of bread is intoxicating! Homemade granola and yogurt with seasonal fruit is a great choice. We also had a turkey sandwich and was good. The country bread and butter was worth ordering as is the avocado toast.
The ham and cheese croissant is a Solid choice, very tasty!
An open warehouse restaurant with a wine bar.

I stopped by Tartine for breakfast and really enjoyed the food! I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich and a Black Coffee. The Breakfast Sandwich was flavorful and fresh, and the coffee was bold and smooth—just what I needed to start my day.
However, there are a couple of things to note. Seating is restricted to 90 minutes, which can feel a bit rushed if you’re hoping to relax or linger over your meal. Additionally, there’s no WiFi, so it’s not the best spot if you’re looking to get some work done or connect online.
That said, if you’re there for the food and ambiance, it’s a fantastic spot. I’ll definitely be back for the delicious offerings!

Yummy albeit expensive. Smells so good. Love seeing the bread making in the back. Beautiful country loaf and delicious croissant but why did my croissant cost $8 😍

This is easily one of the best bakeries in San Francisco. Been here multiple times and the tartines, sandwiches and cakes have been consistently good. The Smoked Salmon Tartine and Avocado Tartine are simply the best. When you walk in you have to place your order, get your order placard , get seated and the food is brought to your table. It’s a bit tricky to add items to your order because some items in the box may not show up online, but you can ask a staff and they will help you out. Place had good vibes, is always bustling and great to visit with a large party.

At this point it's a SF classic. The pressed ham sando is magically great.
This review is specifically for Tartine’s Buche de Noel or Yule log. A Buche de Noel is supposed to be a showstopper/centerpiece. Theirs missed the mark. It does get some points for taste but looked nothing like a holiday log. You’re better off going to a patisserie for this seasonal item.
