We went on a Sunday evening for a casual dinner. There were plenty of tables available. We loved the food. It was great to see their bread making area. Got to bring home a loaf of their famous country sourdough bread.

We stopped by Tartine Manufactory to grab some takeout and ended up spending around $150 on a spread of delicious items—and honestly, it was worth every dollar. From the cookies and pastries to the avocado toast, smoked salmon toast, and omelet, everything was a hit. Everyone raved about their order.

I’ve been to Tartine Manufactory for both breakfast and dinner, and we’ve tried a wide variety of their baked goods, pastries, and croissants—everything has been consistently excellent. The salmon and avocado toasts were especially memorable—simple but elevated with high-quality ingredients that really made a difference.

We’ve also dined in for dinner and made reservations for their pizza, which is only served in the evening. The service remained fast, though we did have a small hiccup once when an item didn’t arrive and had to be canceled. That aside, we really enjoyed the pizzas—some were better than others, but the meatball pizza stood out. The salads were fresh, and the desserts, of course, were fantastic.

I’ve been a fan of Tartine since the early days and own several of their beautiful cookbooks, so getting to enjoy their food firsthand always feels special. The vibe is super casual, and the service is smooth and efficient—our entire takeout order was ready in about 10 minutes, which was impressive given how busy it was.

The biggest challenge is parking, especially on weekdays. Since it’s in a commercial area, finding a spot—particularly in the morning—can be a nightmare. You might end up circling for quite a while. If possible, walk, bike, or Uber. Weekends are a bit easier, but even then, try to avoid going too early.

All in all, Tartine delivers—whether you’re dining in or grabbing food to-go. The prices are what you’d expect for San Francisco, but the quality speaks for itself. We’re already looking forward to our next visit—especially to enjoy the pizza again and soak in the full experience. Highly recommend.

There was a line out the door at 1:44pm. Don’t come here hoping to grab a quick bite.

The morning bun has to be one of the best pastries i have ever had. It is layered in soft flaky layers that is stuck together with a caramel glaze that reminds me of the crystallization that happens at the bottom of a good cinnamon role.

It is just the right amount of sweetness without being too much. Sometimes people sace the center of the cookie or role because it's the best but it was amazing all the way through.

The cold brew was good but didn't stand out quite as much. It was solid but didn't have any lingering flavors after so it was just a solid base cold brew in my book.

The service was fast and friendly with the line going super quickly. The atmosphere as warm with large ceilings and big windows that welcom you in.

An added bonus is that it's in an area where parking isn't impossible so we found a spot pretty quickly.

Overall amazing spot for pastries!

Simply love this place! If you’re a bread lover, this is a must go!
We had breakfast here on a Tuesday noon and it was really relaxing and not busy at all.
We ordered a turkey sandwich, the warm bread and butter and an avocado tartine. Everything was just soooo delicious and mouthwatering - incredible! Also the atmosphere was really cool with its industrial style. I’d always choose this place!!

I love this place. Even when they are busy, the service is smooth, and the lone moves fast. You can usually find a spot to sit down too. The food is good, they clean the tables quickly, and there are many options. I highly recommend this place for consistently high quality of service. Continue doing the great work!

Order at the front and pay. The smell of bread is intoxicating! Homemade granola and yogurt with seasonal fruit is a great choice. We also had a turkey sandwich and was good. The country bread and butter was worth ordering as is the avocado toast.
The ham and cheese croissant is a Solid choice, very tasty!
An open warehouse restaurant with a wine bar.

I stopped by Tartine for breakfast and really enjoyed the food! I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich and a Black Coffee. The Breakfast Sandwich was flavorful and fresh, and the coffee was bold and smooth—just what I needed to start my day.

However, there are a couple of things to note. Seating is restricted to 90 minutes, which can feel a bit rushed if you’re hoping to relax or linger over your meal. Additionally, there’s no WiFi, so it’s not the best spot if you’re looking to get some work done or connect online.

That said, if you’re there for the food and ambiance, it’s a fantastic spot. I’ll definitely be back for the delicious offerings!
