Service was great, food was delish but felt like I wanted a bit more options. Cocktails were strong and superb! Ambiance was nice, matched the Burmese oasis vibe. Great for conversation but not intimate or hard of hearing.

Really great place to head before the ballet or symphony. Delicious Burmese cuisine (perhaps the best samosas I've ever had!), friendly, fast service and a nice buzzy vibe. Teakwood is part of the Burma Superstar family, so was nice to try as I hadn't been to Superstar. Fun cocktails/mocktails, great appetizers if you're in a hurry. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyable pre-show/birthday dinner! We took a bit of a shot in the dark, picking a place near a show we were going to and ended up being almost 20 minutes late to our reservation. They kindly seated us without a fuss, helped us pick some winners from the menu, and were very attentive. Each dish was delicious and a departure from what has become "standard" South East Asian food in the Bay Area. The cod was, for me, the star dish, and my Mom loved the hen of the...
