I’ve been eating at Ted’s Market for years, it sold last year opening with the new owners January this year and now I won’t spend another dime there!! It’s been the best but in less than a year it’s a rip off! I will drive as far as needed to spend my cash! Touché Mohammed!

Ted’s is nice little store with great sandwiches bagels and other foods in their deli. They have fresh fruit and great customer service. The store is clean and also gets really busy especially in the mornings. Definitely recommend a visit to Ted’s.

Tasty subs all freshly made, and great value of course. I actually entered after their weekend hours but they kept several extra in the fridge, and they'll reheat for you if preferred. Super friendly people to chat with. Overall a local gem guaranteed.

From ownership down to the ladies making the sammiches. Class acts and stellar sandwiches all the way down the menu. They have fresh mortadella which is oddly enough not available in some places. Mortadella on a sourdough roll, extra mayo, extra mustard, the works veggie wise, banana peppers toasted. Fire. The club Ted is also a favorite. Who am I kidding…. They are all good! Plus the pastries in front by the register are also local and delicious. Check em out.

Great spot for a breakfast or lunch sandwich. The tri tip and roasted pork specials are great (but only available certain days or the week).

When you enter this place, it seems like a usual liquor/gas station store. But don’t get me wrong, the sandwiches are great! I had Pastrami which was great. To be fair, Katz in Mew York was much better, but more expensive and more busy, so mild your expectations. This was a great quality and price for SF. I will update this comment if I ever run into a better one in the west coast.
The only thing I wish was better about this place is that I wish there was a table to sit on and eat my delicious sandwich after walking hungry to the spot and waiting for the food. I personally walked for 5 minutes to a nearby bench in 55 S. Van Ness Avenue. You may find a better place on your own.

The guy behind the counter, I’m guessing the owner is pretty nice, always polite and welcoming when I come in. First sandwich I tried was the po” boy sandwich…wasn’t impressed. I didn’t order another one until I went in there one day to buy a drink, guy asks me if I’m getting a sandwich and I tell him honestly I didn’t like the sandwich. He recommends the Tri Tip sandwich, I say ok I’ll try your sandwiches one more time. Tried it, nothing special. So, hard pass on the sandwiches and everything is honestly so overpriced overpriced. The sandwich alone is about 17 bucks. I’ll just go get me a banh mi sandwich a few blocks down for under 10 bucks thank you. ?
