Their drink is overloaded with sugar, too bad that they don’t even ask about sweetness preference and I typically drink tea with no sugar. Waste of money here.
Boba is super flavorful and friendly staff! Must try!
Love it here. Beautiful store and tea is good and affordable
Great tea tasting experience with Yen today. I think she would have let us taste the whole store today, if we had more time we would have. Front of shop is the modern bubble tea kind of place. Back of shop is retail bag & loose leaf teas with the tasting bar. We really like the TenRen teas, especially the Taiwanese Alishan and Ti Kuan Yin. Looking forward to going back and trying more.
a great place to stop and get a cup of tea in China town
Had the iced lychee green tea and it was sooooo good. Really recommend.
I do not like boba tea at all. No worries, here they got you covered. I got a good old cup of green tea with high quality. It is authentic Chinese tea. Nothing less nothing more. They also offered me some shelter on a windy cold SF day.
I would come back again if I need tea.
Tea is too bland, bubble too soft and not chewy.
I have been coming here since I was a kid, after awhile they closed their original shop and relocated a few stores down. This is my go to boba shop when I am in Chinatown. They offer authentic drinks that are brewed daily, many premium teas that are imported from China to choose from and some gifts laid out throughout the shop. The service is always great and the drinks always leaves me satisfied. I highly recommend this place to all boba enthusiasts or to anyone looking to tryout something new. I definitely will be back!
Very unfriendly

Ten Ren Tea in San Francisco’s Chinatown is a hidden gem! The drinks are flavorful, refreshing, and beautifully made. I loved their Thai Tea —perfectly sweet and chewy. The shop is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the vibes are just right. A must-visit for tea lovers!
First time being in a nice clean tea shop. My sister in law buys her tea here. Good selection. The person was not so friendly. We had to ask questions.
I ordered a milk green tea, no sugar less ice, with aloe. I think about 1/2 cup was filled with crushed ice
They serve boiling hot drinks!
All of us ordered a hot Black Milk Tea, and when we got it, it was extremely hot. I can say it was too hot to drink and even too hot to hold. Now, 15 minutes later, I’ve carried this drink all the way to Union Square, and it’s still too hot to drink. It’s so inconvenient—one hand has to hold the drink carefully. We can’t take pictures or carry our stuff properly.
We ordered oolong milk, thai, lychee green, and black milk tea. All of them were really refreshing and authentic. I usually don't like green tea due to its bitterness. However, their green tea had a soothing bitterness which i really enjoyed. Then I ended up buying the pearl jasmin green and lychee oolong tea leaves to take home :)
