An almost great experience. Brussel sprouts were charred much too much. The beef Wellington had a liquid on the plate which was not good for the pastry, dessert underwhelming. The good is that the beef Wellington has a nice thick cut of beef attractively presented. I would rate it the 4th best I have ever had. When attention requires seconds in the kitchen a few can make a big difference. This was a Xmas day visit at the hotel. We are local residents of the city.
We had a wonderful time here. Even though we were in a hurry, everything came out quickly and was delicious. We ordered the eggplant baba ghanoush, which was incredibly flavorful and served with warm, fresh pita bread. The steak skewers were another highlight—so tender and perfectly cooked. The service was great, and the staff were attentive. The atmosphere was beautiful and festive, making the experience even better.

Came to Terrene for their Winter Greenhouse experience post-Peter & the Wolf @ the SF Symphony. The service was outstanding from the valet to the hostess to the server. The waiter we had was absolutely lovely and food speedily came to our table. The cheese and chocolate fondue was delicious although the selection of items for the chocolate seemed questionable specifically the figs. If you’re a lover of figs that are not surrounded by a newton than you’ll be good. Definitely...
