We really liked this place! We were the only ones in here, with a window seat view to people watch. We got the cherry blossom roll, spicy rainbow roll, miso soup, chicken karaage, gyoza, endamame, and some nigiri (we were hungry lol). The cherry blossom was a bit plain in taste, but other than that everything was really good. The karaage was not to over fried, and the portions of fish were great.

We spent our last evening in San Francisco here and ate the sushi and gyoza. It was outstanding!! Never had such good sushi. The tuna was like butter on the tongue...Insanely good! The ambience in the store itself is completely ok, but not a classic restaurant. We would come back for sushi at any time.

A small casual sushi restaurant on geary. They have a variety of rolls and appetizers. They dont serve bento boxes, but do serve some rice bowls. Service was quick and we noticed a lot of people ordering to go. We ordered edamame, chicken karage, CA roll, SF roll, caterpillar roll, cherry blossom roll, and rainbow roll. Our food came out quickly. The edamame came out hot and topped with salt. The chicken karage was a decent portion for 2 with fairly big pieces and came with spicy mayo sauce. The rolls were fresh and had good amount of fish. The cherry blossom roll was our favorite. We kept our expectations low but we were thoroughly impressed by the food, especially with affordable prices. Highly recommend this place and will be coming again soon.

There is hope after all to find filling fancy food for a very fair affordable price in San Francisco. I was just as happy with this sushi as any I’ve ever had, and actually even more happy because it was less expensive than any sushi I’ve ever seen, friendly service, and a chill atmosphere. It was like having a home cooked meal by the fire but if your home were in Japan and the fire were a restaurant in the Richmond.

Cannot recommend this place enough!I would share a photo of the exquisite dragon, rainbow, spicy hamachi, and cherry blossom rolls we got, but unfortunately that would doxx my homies cuz they're in the photo so it can't be done :(Rest assured though, the food was exquisite! HIGHLY enjoyed the chicken karaage as well- piping hot and perfectly seasoned.You would be literally INSANE not to give this place your business!
