Perfect portion size. Deliciously fresh fish.
Other reviews spot on. This place is so good. Not fancy. Will return.

I love this place. It is a very simple interior that makes it easy to sleep on but the food is super good and fresh.
Everything is beautifully crafted.
They can get slammed with takeout orders sometimes but the food is worth the wait.

Very reasonable prices for scrumptious & generous sushi rolls from Teru the Sushi Man and clean & lovely miso soup and service from Aki, his adorable wife. No liquor license (yet) but you can bring your own (there’s also a liquor store across the street). Casual, modest, unpretentious almost 1950s-style atmosphere with comfy booth seating and room for a baby carriage. Dine in or take out. FYI no steps. Easily accessible toilet.

I have been ordering from them via Doordash for a few years. Even take out orders are nicely plated and packaged. Too pretty to eat. Sashimi was always fresh and fried calamari was irresistible.
Our first time and we loved every bite. Everything was so fresh and beautifully prepared. Will definitely be coming back often.
Small little family owned and ran business between husband and wife. Suuuuuper fresh food and you can tell every dish is made with love. Very fair prices as well. Love this place
This is honestly my favorite sushi restaurant in all of SF. The food was delicious (especially the fried squid legs!!) it’s very well priced and the owners are so incredibly nice. It’s a small business run by the two owners. It’s a restaurant you come to catch up with your friends and not be in a rush. Enjoy good food and good conversation! Highly recommend!
Baked salmon roll is incredible!

Feels like family owned, great to have them in the neighborhood.
Yummy 🍣!
We really liked this place! We were the only ones in here, with a window seat view to people watch. We got the cherry blossom roll, spicy rainbow roll, miso soup, chicken karaage, gyoza, endamame, and some nigiri (we were hungry lol). The cherry blossom was a bit plain in taste, but other than that everything was really good. The karaage was not to over fried, and the portions of fish were great.

We spent our last evening in San Francisco here and ate the sushi and gyoza. It was outstanding!! Never had such good sushi. The tuna was like butter on the tongue...Insanely good!
The ambience in the store itself is completely ok, but not a classic restaurant.
We would come back for sushi at any time.

We were offered a complimentary hot tea when arrived - after cold foggy weather it was very appropriate.
Food was fresh and delicious!
