Ordered #1 #4 #10 for to go. Literally no flavor to none of them. You'd think thai food got flavor and spice to it, but not at this restaurant. Disappointed!

TL;DR: It's always a good time for Thai Time. Thai Time Restaurant ranks among my favorite Thai restaurants of all time. I found it many years ago when I was living in SF and exploring the city. The food is phenomenal, and the cozy local-business vibes makes it even more special. (Much though I adore Kin Khao and the empire of Farmhouse Thai restaurants, small business hit different) Ever since COVID, they have been offering take-out and delivery only; I think operating costs with servers, washing dishes, etc. is unfortunately too high. Although I miss the dine-in experience in this beloved hole-in-the-wall, I'm very grateful that they still offer their delicious food with the same extensive menu. The menu is absolute Thai food galore. The sections are organized into appetizers, salads, Thai time favorites, other a la carte, noodles, fried rice, etc... there are item descriptions but no pictures, and TRUST ME you literally can't go wrong. Besides your typical pad Thai and the like, Thai Time has a mind-blowing variety of Thai dishes that aren't easy to find at other places. Some of my favorites are angel wings, hor mok, Thai Time noodles, green curry duck. Other notes: - Portions are generous - Price point is a steal (excellent value, especially considering how overpriced everything else is these days) - Service is very friendly (I think it's a family-owned small business) - Parking in the Inner Richmond isn't the easiest thing in the world, but not impossible since the side street is less busy - The online order process was seamless. It's usually ready in ~15 min, which is about the time it takes to get there if you're in SF running errands. During busier times, it's ~30 min **For online orders, remember to order directly from their website ( or by phone!** (Third party apps like UberEats and GrubHub overcharges and pays less to the actual restaurant) It's always a good time to support local small family businesses :) Especially when the food is to die for!

Thai time is our local go to for take out. The portions are large compared to some others we've had locally and it's always delicious. Our personal favorites are the pad see ew, green curry, and Thai time pineapple fried rice!

Ordered take out which Imo is a mistake. You need to dine in. Because the food was that good. As a vegetarian its hard to come across Thai places you wanna go back to. Well this is by bar my fav Thai place in sf. Ordered our usual pad kee mao and red curry ( was feeling like red curry) with a side of brown rice. I meannn. For me personally it doesn't get better than this. I'm just going to say great service and ambiance.

5 star! Classic Richmond go to for Thai. Fried rice, pad see ew, pad Thai, you cannot go wrong. My personal favorite is the Thai time noodles. These guys are open later than most AND offer free and fast delivery if you don't want to leave your home. No dine in option though so takeaway only

So very pleased that this TINY restaurant is still around. I pass at least once a week, but am NVR in the right moment to stop in and order or worse order on line simply because of the time of day . I'm either too early or too late for lunch and way too early for dinner . Sadly, as posted on their front window , food is too go only . Then again setting was extremely limited anyway. All that being said , I used to frequent this establishment frequently with my 2 nieces from Hawaii as they were attending college at USF and SF State respectively and both enjoy Thai Cuisine over most anything else, and a close second would be Japanese. Both of which are extremely healthy and tasty. And of course as they were my nieces , Uncle always foots the $$$ . ( College Girls ) The menu doesn't appear and has much to offer for every pallet and does not appear.to have changed much, and the prices are quite fair. Definitely will return again

The food took 25 minutes longer than they had quoted. Upon finally eating the food we waited so long for, the only redeeming item (and the reason I gave two stars instead of one) was the Tom Kah. To top it off, there might have been mold on the sticky rice.

A family favorite for a long time. Tiny place, so they're not doing dine-in. But always good food!

Ordered Thai Time to go again. I got my usual Tofu Gra Prow Krob. Excellent as always. Their consistency is very reassuring.

Recommended by a friend, he told me their Thai time wings, gra pow or ka prow are addicting, but i decided to get their Green Fried Rice. I was not disappointed! Don’t know if all their portions are like their fried rice but they gave so much, that i only ate half of it for lunch & the other half for dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back to this place to try their other dishes! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Thai Food.

This is without reservations some of the best Tom Ka Gai in the city. Authentic fresh ingredients (finally a Thai place that uses straw mushrooms!), great flavors and A+++ service.
