Recently my family treated me to a birthday dinner at That’s Amore❗️(my 4th visit in the past 1 1/2 yrs.) & it’s quickly becoming my fav for Italian in SF❗️Their variety of very fresh salads, piping-hot entree’s like their vegetarian -spinach lasagna, spaghetti-meat balls, wood-fired pizzas with gluten-free (option) crusts! This is my absolute favorite restaurant, a place I truly love. The staff always greets you with such kindness, making every visit feel special. The food is incredible-full of flavor, quality, and care. I have to say, the pizza is the best I’ve tasted since Italy! Every dish feels like it’s made with love. If I could, I’d give this place 100 stars.
That's Amore has live music. Well, I got here at 8pm on a Wednesday as the musicians were packing up. Today's order was a caprese $18, combo $21 pizzas and a creamy pesto spaghetti $13. The food was ready in 15 minutes. The caprese pizza didn't have a strong pesto taste. Rather, it had a zingy tomato flavor. It was a good contrast with the mozzarella cheese.
