Been my favorite bar for nearly 20 years. Authentic San Francisco vibe with all the friendly swagger, great drinks, nice bartenders, good music, lots of dogs, good lighting and decent prices... Stay awesome please. 😍
Went with a friend who hasn't been to this bar since the 90's. She says it hasn't changed much, just not as many musicians as patrons. Almost felt like a NY local bar. Good drinks.
500 club was a highlight of our trip. Low key, vibey casual bar. The bartender was friendly and welcoming (haven’t been able to say that about several places in sf). Brunette female bartender working on Tuesday night - thank you! We drank scotch and sour - she offered to shake them which was nice and always included a few delicious cherries. Extra bonus, the sour is homemade. I wish I’d known there was food, i would bet it’s good. The lights are dim and red and sexy and...
