I just moved to the Bay Area from the East Coast. This is probably the closest thing I’ve had to a NYC bagel outside of NYC. The staff is amazing and the chocolate croissant is so delicious. 10/10 for me!
I usually don't give bad reviews but the current 4 star average rating is absolutely incorrect. I should've known the first warning sign being that on a usually bustling weekend morning in SOMA there was nobody there and they looked surprised I walked in. The bagel sandwich was okay, not much flavor or that hot baked freshness. There wasn't even real cream or milk for coffee. The cases are empty and the bagels look sad in the lower display case.
