Waited for so long just for a burrito ! Bad service. Will not come back here again
Food cold and disappointing in the street tacos. It was not even busy. Many other Mexican taco spots that are by far BETTER AND NOT OVERPRICED FOR COLD FOOD THAT SHOWED NO LOVE
Parking: Parking not good

Overall it’s extremely over priced for the quality. It’s nothing special. However it’s better quality than underdogs tres.

We came here for dinner on a Thursday around 6 pm. Football was playing on the many large-screen TVs throughout the bar, and the place was pretty packed, but we managed to get two seats together at the bar.
We ordered a pitcher of house margaritas ($55), which were excellent—I could actually taste the tequila.
For starters, we had chips and guacamole. The chips were perfect, topped with a generous amount of guacamole, and the two salsas were delicious!
Next, we had the Nick's Way carnitas tacos. They were huge and packed with meat, pico de gallo, and guacamole—very tasty.
We left with full bellies and a nice buzz from the margaritas, spending about $94 before tip.
The only downside was the sneaky 4.5% surcharge added to subsidize employee healthcare, and the gross bathroom, which had water or maybe urine on the floor.

please stop double parking at Underdogs Too. it is not safe double parking near the intersection.
I went on a Sunday evening and the place was hopping. I grabbed one of the few free seats at the bar, and the bartender Kyle was super attentive.
The food came quickly and the San Diego burrito was damn good. Five stars for sure.

Location is cute right near the beach. I’ve gone here before and the shrimp tacos are delicious, this time I decided to get the flautas. The queso fresco smelled funky and had a slight grey tone to it, when I ate it- it was super bitter and sour. Threw me off so I told one the workers there, and he was extremely rude to me. He was not trying to give me a refund or the chance to get a new plate, so I was like you literally can try it. He came back and said the cook tried it and he said it was good. I told him, well queso fresco is definitely not supposed to look, smell, or taste like that. His tone was rude, he rolled his eyes, then finally he gave me a refund after persisting for one. It sucks cuz I thought i found my new favorite taco spot near the beach but the customer service there needs to improve because that made me and other people uncomfortable in that space. The first time I came there I saw another table have a fight with that same server because he was rude to the lady. Underdogs has to come thru, plssss yall need to have a bigger comeback for that one

Really disappointed by the service.
As a someone in early pregnancy, I can’t eat big portions or anything very flavorful. I asked our server if I could order off the kid menu and explained my situation (I literally need to eat like a child right now ) and was denied. That level of inflexibility at a family-centric business seemed really off to me.
It’s a bummer because I am a long time fan and customer at both locations, but I guess business is business.

Great place to bring the family. A fun place close to the beach. People who work there are very friendly!
Vegetarian options: Egg Tacos, Skinny Guacamole with fresh dipping veggies.
Kid-friendliness: My 8!year daughter and her friends are always treated well. They have a kids menu and the food is brought out quick.

Very relaxed environment and friendly staff. The chips for the salsa and guacamole are amazing!! We did street tacos while the kids did quesadillas and everyone smashed, it was so good!
P.S. we are visiting from michigan and we really enjoyed seeing that blue & maize flag flying high!!
