I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese. Greasiest thing I’ve ever seen. Chicken was gray and smelled fishy. I ordered it around 9pm.

Solid fried chicken sandwich. I wish there were a spicy option but it was pretty flavorful. I didn’t need to wait too long. The sandwich was filling. I like how the restaurant clearly in big letters states that there is a 6% charge as opposed to hiding it in small font.

The buffalo wings are too dry and expensive, don’t know how this place is rated highly, maybe I ate the wrong meal

I was excited to try the fried chicken sandwich here, but I didn’t think it was as good as some reviews led me to believe. I really liked the amount of spice, but I wish the chicken was a bit crispier and more flavorful. The curly fries were not good; some of mine were still tightly wound and cold/mushy in the inside. If I worked near here, I would probably grab lunch here, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Rubbery chicken with a weird flavor that took too long. The place was maybe 2/3 full - not very busy. The order and check out station was self-serve, and the menu was tiny, so ordering was straightforward and impersonal, which is fine if you're not in the mood to chat, and have no questions.

But then the waiting started. 15 minutes later, I had my food. It was not worth the wait.

The loaded tots were good. Not great, but it's hard to mess up tots and cheese.

The chicken sandwich was weird. Texture was chewy in a bad way, and the flavor was off. I didn't finish it despite being super hungry. The apple fritter was meh - not worth the calories. I didn't finish that either.

I have no idea why this place has decent ratings.

The bird is a great place for spicy sandwich and burgers. I always lovetheir food and the curly fries were super crispy and crunchy. The food was served pretty quickly and we were greeted with big smiles. The restaurant does not have a lot of Ambiance to offer but at this rate, it is pretty good. Cute little spot

Dishonestly lists it's prices. Charges a fee of its own invention (not required by law and not set by the city).

A great place to grab a quick hearty bite if you are nearby. The chicken sandwich was $10.25, which was very reasonable. Admittedly, the portion is on the smaller side but given the price it’s completely reasonable. The chicken is delicious as it’s made fresh and they even have a big projector playing local sports games.

The menu caters to both spicy and non-spicy food lovers. Would recommend if you like chicken sandwiches. The store is a bit on the smaller side though so you might not find a table during peak hours.

the fried chicken is good but spiciness is inconsistent. I've eaten there many times. "spicy bird" ranged from mild to crazy spicy.

Must visit for the best spicy juicy fried chicken in San Francisco . Recommend getting the Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich, but, with a caveat that the spicy here is not for the faint at heart. For them there is the naked bird which is also really good. Would also recommend dining-in here because their fried chicken is best when it’s hot.

This experience was different than most. We ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich. The sauce was not to our taste. It was too heavy and there was a flavor profile we couldn't identify. The service was decent. But there was a huge ladder in the middle of the restaurant that made it difficult to move around. Also there was a man in the store who wasn't quite holding an entire baf of marbles. He became agitated in the store but after he left the employees at the front of the store made fun of him and made jokes about him in front of the remaining customers in the store. This was very inappropriate. I hope that they could have dismissed him from the store with a little more compassion and grace.

Spicy chicken sandwich was good but a little bit oily. And hard to eat. If you want to try local shops, I recommend.

I dined in 7 hours ago. Biting into the chicken sandwich they served me burned the roof of my mouth to the point where I'm needing a couple Advil to sleep and couldn't much taste dinner. Won't eat there again. You should serve food at a temperature that doesn't damage your customers.
