Smaller restaurant with long bar that is famous for the American Irish Coffee. We stayed close by and this spot always had a line to get in, so plan ahead. Their food offerings are mostly eggs and other similar food. I stopped for food, it was at the end of the day but, the lady behind the food counter was not very friendly and kind of cold. Maybe it was a long day.
Super busy when I was there but the service was quick and efficient. I opted to sit at the bar to watch the famous coffee being made right there in front of me. It tasted delicious ? After that I headed to Ghirardelli for some ice cream as it was super close to the square as well as Trolley station, so the location is excellent
We went here for the Irish Coffee on my parent’s recommendation, they used to go here in the early 70s. It was a fun atmosphere and every time we walked by it was busy/full. Waitress was lovely.
