The Cafe Reviews
New Security and door staff are extremely rude and unnecessary to good paying customers for no reason. But bar tenders are cool and very nice once you get inside . But first impressions are lasting impressions. Especially for a struggling business in the Castro. The door staff clearly hates their jobs and There are plenty of other options as far as far as bars in the city.
It’s too nice of an establishment to be ruined by bitter staff members that can be easily replaced....read full review

Located in the heart of the Castro, The Cafe is a popular spot known for its lively atmosphere and ample space, with a semi-two level layout providing a sense of roominess. The club features a dance floor that encircles a platform used for performances, and drink prices are reasonable, with a "gay pour" that balances out the cost. The vibe starts out okay and gradually amps up throughout the night, attracting a predominantly millennial crowd with straight girl groups also in attendance. Notably, the restrooms are clean and feature a huge LED-bordered mirror and multiple single, gender-neutral bathrooms. The club also offers creatively themed shots and has a server who circulates on the main floor. With a cash-only policy, customers can expect to spend around $30-50 per night, considering most people consume three drinks.
