My husband and I found the food good, but extremely small portions for the price. He ordered the lamb, and got two small pieces for $40, half of what he would normally get when ordering lamb somewhere. The Parisian gnocchi was good, very unusual. We also had a permission and prosciutto salad that was very good, but also rather small. I picked the restaurant for the sticky toffee pudding and was sadly very disappointed with it. It was not the English style and I left most of it uneaten. The atmosphere and decor were nice and the server was very pleasant. Parking is also bad.

Our group of 10 loved this place. Food, drinks, ambience and service were excellent. The kids in our group got to go upstairs and hang out in the playroom, and the adults snuck Nextdoor to their very cool speakeasy.

Our group of 10 had a great experience at Cavalier because of the ambience and the entrees we ordered were delicious. However, I gave 4 stars for food because the flank steak was very good, yet doesn't come with a side. For the price, a steak needs a side! The bread pudding and panna cotta were delightful. Overall, service was great, they even showed the kids a great space upstairs to hangout while the adults finished our desserts. I would come back again when I'm in the city!

Marble floors, old world bar and a vibe. Don’t wonder- just come and explore. Flavorful steaks, classic fish a chips, deviled eggs are tasty and dive into the refreshing salads. We came to the Cavalier for Christmas brunch. We’ve been to the mall so many times and always missed this place and Christmas felt like a good time to try it out. We had reservations but they were not needed as the place was fairly empty for the holiday. Our prix fixe menu was exceptionally good. I’m not usually a fan of turkey but the herb marinated turkey breast was delicious. The service was also excellent and they had a great doggy menu as well - all in all, they took great care of us (and our dog!). Definitely plan to come by again for some of their more standard fare.

Went out with family for a mid-week holiday dinner. Ambiance was just lovely, food and drinks were fantastic, staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly enjoyed our evening.
I had an OK salad and a very good chocolate delice dessert, but found a place very unfriendly. I do not eat meat or shellfish and so I'm often not the best judge of a restaurant, but this place was unaccommodating to the very smallest of special requests.. Their menu is limited and when I called to their attention, the fact that the item listed on their website menu was not the same as on the actual menu, they really didn't want to discuss it with me. “They have some leftover ingredients from Christmas dinner that they have to use up.“ Usually, restaurants couldn't be more helpful, but not this place. Cannot recommend.

The ambiance is stylish yet warm. Service-wise, it was textbook—attentive and quick. The portions are very large, ensuring you leave completely full. It’s great to see the quality getting better and better. Whether for the taste or the environment, it’s worth a special trip. Highly recommended!
