We had a lovely pre-theater dinner and found the menu varied and inspired. We had the Caesar salad, Scotch egg, Ahi Carpaccio, Seared Scallops and twice baked potato -- all delicious. For dessert, we had the Bruleed "Alaska" and Sticky Toffee Bread Pudding. The service was friendly and attentive.
We had a great meal at Cavalier last night. We started with three very different cocktails and loved them all. I was so happy to see the left side of the menu was mostly vegetables. We ate several. Our entrees were delicious. My meat was undercooked (by any standard) and was promptly replaced with a perfect version. I was a bit taken aback when the waiter said something about letting it rest.
