The place itself is beautiful, has wifi. But the manager has an attitude, she was yelling today. She also was making me pay $15 for a cup of tea, and yesterday it was $5. It's a very sweet and calm place and it's so odd to have such aggressive employees.
(they lost their license and now she was trying to charge triple for a drink.)
Beautiful heart centered somatic teachings. Especially love sound healing with Loriel Starr, offered here and there on weekends.
Would love some mat pilates offering mixed with some of the pranayama/healing modalities
I find this to be a place of fake community. People who go here are rather rude and standoffish. It doesn’t feel warm or welcoming to me at all. I’ve tried going to some of the sound baths, but Maryzelle gives me a really bad vibe. Another time went to Kundalini yoga, and the instructors didn’t really seem in tune with their practice or the people attending the class. I see them talk only amongst a certain group of people and if you’re not a part of the “cool kid crowd” then you don’t feel like you’re a part of a community. It’s such a shame because SF deserves a place where people feel that way, but this just doesn’t cut it.
They fraudulently charged me $300 😭😭
Emailed the team 5 times, no reply! Ridiculous 💔
I'm giving this place 5 stars because it's supposed to be where the spoiled rich elite go to LARP as spiritually better than you too. Nailed it!!!
I really appreciated that during kundalini yoga, the teacher, Rebecca Blondell, noticed when each student needed even more ergonomic or injury prevention tips. (She's also a massage therapist).
I also appreciated that yoga nidra led by Dan and Miguel focused on helping us manifest what we'd like.
Thanks also to all volunteers, such as ones helping the teahouse be green and washing reusable cups for tea!
This is my favorite yoga and teahouse with help-yourself-tarot decks in the world! And yes, I've been to the ones in Bali :)
The Center needs conditional use authorization to run events and its beverage business in a residential district. Currently, “none of The Center’s activities—food, beverage, entertainment, institutional—are properly permitted,” Planning Department spokesperson Dan Sider told The Standard via email.

This is a peaceful place to study. It feels like a little sanctuary hidden from the bustle of SF.
How have I slept on this treasure? Amazing tea house and yoga studio, take your shoes off at the door, indulge your senses in the smells of brewing teas, chocolate, the gentle vibrations of conversations and hushed voices interspersed with laughter and the sounds of classes starting and stopping. Yoga Nidra with Miguel was great, I’ll be back.
Amazing yoga studio in San Francisco! I liked that they have kundalini yogaclasses a lot in a week schedule! The cafe is amazing. Very spacious, cozy atmosphere, many yoga people are chilling on the couches! Our recommended studio in San Francisco! There were many types of Kundalini yoga. The cafe attached to the studio was wonderful, and many yogis were relaxing on the sofas.
Beautiful space, I wish I came sooner. 10/10
A home away from home. Great vibes, conscious community and alcohol free!
