We celebrated my partner's birthday here and combined it with seeing Fleetwood Macrame. Total success. The staff here were super flexible, prices super reasonable, and the vibe was super chill.
First, the core team ate at Curio. Great meal in a super cool setting. Then, the staff dressed up the Private Dining Room super elegantly. Pro tip - bring your own LED candles and 3-5 flower arrangements to make the room sparkle.
We started the bday festivities with their apps - so good. Then we brought in our own cake, and they were super on it with plateware, forks, etc. Also had them pour their bubbly, which was a Spanish Cava was really good and super elegant in champagne flutes.
The staff made sure empty glasses & plates were bussed right away and it was a quality operation. Our guests also bought tix for the show, so they drifted in and out of the concert to the equally elegant bar or dining room for conversation and really solid drinks from the bar throughout the night.
Overall, all the rooms have incredible charm, the staff are super excellent (and you know that from the positive way they all work together - such a good vibe staff!), food is solid, drinks are excellent and the intimate music scene in the Chapel itself is unbeatable.
Hope these folks keep on keeping on for a very long time - a very special place!
I liked it as the service was good. Only main complaint is that it was dark. This is my third time there. I think the drinks were a little expensive. ) Though my drinks were free because of an event I attended.)
The food was very average. All in all, a nice venue with a good stage and some great people were there.
Parking sucked!
This is one of the best small venues in SF. The sound is always good, staff are friendly, and the mezzanine space is my fav. They have a lot of fun musicians/bands coming through here as well. Just pick a show and go if you've never been. :)
Awesome sound. It gets quite busy and I had someone almost fall back onto me, and I got my foot stepped on, by drunk people, but it's a bar. Food and beverages served.
Chapel is a chill spot to see a show
Love the venue but Just became a victim of a being on a blacklist due to some weird accident. A dude I knew wasn’t very respectful of the bartender and they decided I was associated with him, and I was clearly not .. so security decided to punish everyone who was in the proximity and put a big cross on everyone’s hands… much more demoralizing and humiliating experience I paid for I cannot imagine. I suggest the management to put less pressure on the staff so that they had clarify of thought in their judgement. Needless to say they clouded the Saturday night and made me feel I was thrown into prison for no reason
A fun music venue. Nice size, reasonable prices, fun shows.
They started charging a junk fee to their drinks. Gross
Love it, can recommend. Perfect sized space.
Beautiful venue! Great sound system! Reasonably priced drinks.

Great exerience
Great small venue for live music in the heart of the Mission!
Great venue but they kept the door open and it was absolutely freezing in there. 🥶
Sound could've been better but it was very cool
