Staff do not responce
Terrible experience, wouldn't let me eat what I ordered inside and forced me to eat outside with no reasonable explanation.
Even the ordering process took us 10 minutes as the person in the counter was new and didn't know how to run the software.
And no coffee on a Sunday?? What's going on here??
STAY AWAY!

I was there celebrating my mother’s birthday as soon as we got sat our waiter was asking us if we wanted to move outside, but in a rude way, as in he didn’t wanna service us we said did you want us to move? and he just laughed and said no I’m just asking we said okay. We are staying when we ordered our food. Our appetizers had a rock in it. My mom almost broke her tooth. He laughed and said it was a bean, but it wasn’t. It was a pebble. He took it back to the kitchen to show the cooks as we requested. The cook said it was a bean and that they had Dropped on the floor and couldn’t find it. He brought the appetizer back and left it on the table. Once he brought out our other meal he made a joke saying oh I hope there’s more rocks in this food laughed and walked away. He was very unprofessional and very rude would make uncomfortable comments. when we left We went to the restroom before leaving, and he stood at the restroom door, harassing us for his pen that we did not take. He kept harassing us about the pen. We also wrote on the check to do better that was it respectfully and he was harassing us following us all the way to the elevator, asking what we meant and why we put that. We told him it was pretty obvious that his service was not well and not how things should be done. He got into my friend face and will not leave her alone about the pen and about what we left on the bill. My friend just explained that he made us very uncomfortable. And he was wrong for following us and stalking us at the restroom until we came out to leave . The food was not good and he should’ve took our food and replaced it with new food since there was a pebble in it and he disagreed.I am a sous chef at a high-end steakhouse and this is not how things should be.This was very unprofessional And very, not OK as we left the restaurant. I called the manager and told him what happened and all he did was take off one item off the bill. Our bill was almost $200 will never be coming here again very a professional and manager did nothing to help with the situation. Our waiter was Anthony. Be careful ladies.

Went during peak Christmas break. Too crowded inside, too cold outside but the location on top off Macy's 8th floor is phenomenal. Great overlook of market square. Didn't want to wait for over an hour so we didn't eat here. Prices seemed same as our TN one as prices in San Fran can be ridiculous at non chain restaurants.

I am not being harsh with this review, if there is less than one star they deserve less.
We decided to try this cheese cake factory as the view is beautiful from balcony, we waited for 35 min for our table , once we got seated there was no server and no one asked us anything for 20 min once we got hold of him and told him that we are waiting gor a ling time and it is my husband birthday he was like I don’t care about your birthday I have 6 tables to serve in a rude loud manner
I asked him to leave and called the manager , she came 15 min after and not even feeling sorry
I can tell you guys they ruined our night before it started
Also the food was horrible 🤢🤢🤢 i miss the old cheese cake factory food
Mind you the portions are now cut in halfand taste synthetic
Is the service industry going downhill ?
Manager lindsey, bertu thank you for ruing our night and my husband birthday

Arrived with a group of 5, I had to ask for my coke 6 times, they switch servers and had to ask 3 times for it. Then they brought food for everyone and they didnt place my order. I had to cancel it instead. Server later did't show up for 30 miniutes and I had to pay in the front desk. Horrible service. The tables around me were complaining about the same issue. Avoid place if possible if you are in a group.
Order 0619, Date 1/18/26 in case a manager see this.

Not sure what happened in the past year but the quality of this location has deteriorated. The bar area was not busy at all, yet it took almost an hour for us to get our food. The food was bland with absolutely no seasoning. The overall energy was off, and I didn’t see any of the regular servers from past visits. I used to come here on a weekly basis when I lived in town. I’ll never suggest this location when visiting. Poor San Francisco.

I had made early reservations because my plus one feels that fresh food is served at the start of the day which was not the case today. My French fries were not fresh neither was my grilled chicken, bacon, avocado sandwich with old toast. The grilled chick was not freshly prepared. The cheese was old too. I was actually able to peel it away from the old toast. It was such a huge disappointment. My ice water was fresh and that was it. I didn't complain because I didn't can't to ruin the rest of my day by addressing what they already were aware of what was done. I will not go back and I declined on dessert because I felt that I should cut my losses and move on. The weather was pleasant in San Francisco today which was a delight. I came from the Modesto area so I travel quite a distance for the lousy food. I could have went to the one in Pleasanton that I passed by or even Waln

We went there me and my family and we ordered avocado egg rolls they were cold , it looks like they were sitting somewhere in the kitchen and they serve it to us , not only that but I also ordered the most expensive item on the menu which is filet mignon $47, it was hard as a rock 🪨 . I don’t recommend this restaurant, we paid $180 and not satisfied at all.

Had a great meal at The Cheesecake Factory in Union Square. The food was solid as always - generous portions and reliable favourites. We had sliders with salad, some crispy starters, and finished with cheesecake (both the chocolate and classic were delicious).
What really made the experience special was the view overlooking Union Square and the ice skating rink, especially in the evening when everything is lit up. Comfortable space, friendly service, and a great spot to unwind after shopping or sightseeing. Definitely one of the best spots in San Francisco. Would happily come back.❤️
