We went to The Cheesecake Factory in Union Square just for the cheesecake, and it was perfect just like always. What we really loved about this location is the outdoor seating. The terrace has a great view and a really nice vibe. If you go, definitely ask to sit outside even if there’s a bit of a wait. It’s totally worth it!

Our waiter Alexis was super funny and attentive. The guy had a full section and made sure we were all good. Awesome service

Indoor and Outdoor seating (with heaters) Service is Top and caters to customer needs and requests. We had Alexis and he was on top of our food and drinks order. Not forgetting even the littlest of things in our vegetarian and no meat order. He even remembered and brought us the hot Cajun jambalaya sauce for us to taste. He is a rockstar. This location lives up to the hype of being in the prime location of Union Square, SFO and also of their impeccable service. Outside seating view is amazing day or night. We came for dessert to go the night before and for early dinner the next day before we headed back home. Can't go wrong with their vast spread menu for the conscious and not so conscious folks. There's a sweet spot for everyone in here. Drinks, Food and Good Times. And we had the Mango Key Lime Cheesecake to say au revoir.

I love going to this specific Cheese cake factory in SF because of the atmosphere. It's beautiful inside and on the patio. Their patio is up high about Macy's and you have a beautiful view of the square. The food is always delicious and the wine is lovely. The only drawback is that alot of the time you have to wait to get seated, because they are busy , and the servers get busy with many tables , and don't always check in with you when you are seated . So , you want go here with plenty of time on you hands. I definitely always go back. My photo is of the view from patio.

Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu and the environment is fun for kids especially the paio with a view , they have a fence and special glass that is up preventing any accidents as you are up high . My kids love sitting outside. They have heat laps available outside as well. My kids love picking out their own cheese cake to go after dinner.

This cheesecake factory stands above the rest for its location. The top of the Macy’s building at Union Square in San Francisco. The views are stunning. Cheesecake factory has a gigantic menu. Also is known for obviously it’s desserts and cheesecake!🤣
We went to the specific location a few days before Christmas during the holiday rush. We got right in in the evening, but the restaurant was a little overwhelmed with patrons and the surface was a bit slow. That’s to be expected this time of year and I do not really mind so much as it gave us ample time to hang out and talk with the family.

The food is not so good, the salmon was very well done dor a fish. The service was bad, food came too late, the dishes came separately and missing sites. They fixed everything after complants and gave discounts.

Just want to order a drink to go and waited in line at front desk. After waiting in line for 25 mins, the employee told me they didn’t take these order at front desk, I needed to go to bakery side. Therefore, I went to the other line at bakery for other 25 mins. Finally, it was my turn, the employee at bakery told me they didn’t take drink order at bakery. All the employees in this store have no idea what they are doing, and no manners. None of them apologize for their mistakes.

My husband and I had plans to attend an event downtown on Saturday December 28, 2024 at 8:30pm I had called two days before trying to make a reservation. I was told, "We only take walk-ins".
We arrived at 4:50pm, with friends, there were five of us in total. The place was very busy, but I gave my name at the desk, was told,"It will be an hour." "Ok", I said. The view was great while we waited overlooking Union Square. Our friends were from out of town, so we pasted the time catching up, talking, waiting. The hour passed. It was now, 6:10pm. I went back to the desk to inquire our status and was told, "It will be about 20 minutes". "Ok", I responded. We continued talking and I observed many people that had come after us get seated. Another hour passed!
When it was 7:20pm I went back to the desk and asked for the manager. A very "nervous" young man looked at the list and said,"There's one more group ahead of you, it will be a half an hour more." "What? are you kidding me? We've been waiting 2 1/2 hours!" He walked away, annoyed. I went back to our group and we decided we needed to leave due to the time wasted! We didn't eat there! No dinner before our show! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I will NEVER go back, nor my friends!

Came here with my wife and her friend and enjoyed dishes like the Tomato Basil Pasta, Factory Turkey Burger, and Shrimp Scampi. While the food was good, the service left much to be desired. The waitress failed to offer the complementary bread, and my turkey burger arrived about ten minutes after my wife and her friend received their meals, suggesting a possible order mix-up. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, but the service could use improvement.

Last, but not least, you can’t beat the beautiful view of Union Square during Christmas.

The complementary bread and butter were warm! We got a burger to share and right away the waiter offered a second plate and knife to cut it. It was very busy and service was quick and consistent

One star down for the service. Understand, that it is customer’s responsibility to ask for a specific table when sitting outside, but after I realized there have been a few tables available and asked a server if we can switch, did not see any attempt to help with the request. Yes, we were the company of two and only came to grab a quick bite, but would appreciate a bit of collaboration there. It was not that crowded.

Other than that, liked the food and the overall experience. Only remembered to take a picture of the appetizer, missing pasta and the drinks.
Great place in a great location. 👍
