Ordered the combo platter upgraded with fully loaded fries and an order of calamari. The shrimp that came with the combo were plump and juicy. The fish were fried to perfection and had a crunchy exterior and moist interior. The calamari was a decent size and had a good mix of the body and ends.
Overall would highly recommend Codmother’s if you’re in the Fisherman’s Wharf area and are looking for a nice platter of fish and chips

Not bad fish and chips, nothing amazing but apparently this is one of the best in town. Quiet expensive for what you get but that’s SF

Damn good chips and the fried shrimp were/are excellent. Enjoyed the fish as well but the shrimp a little more. Worth the wait.

Sooo, this place is a bit of an enigma. They clearly know how to make fish n chips. But I can't say I enjoyed it. The service was a bit distracted and the seating area is serviceable.

Great find after recommendation from San Francisco resident.
Nothing fancy to look at, but the fish & chips were great. Cooked to order, piping hot, crispy batter, golden brown chips. Great customer service, friendly staff. Cannot fault our meal.
