The Crepe Cafe

Underrated spot, one of the better clam chowder bread bowls in this touristy area, they toast it perfectly, good amount of clams and clam flavor. Crepes a little bit overpriced or would be a 5 star spot.

It’s 2025. It’s been over 3 years now since I’ve been to this place. It was a class trip to Yosemite from jersey and we landed and stayed in San fran Cisco for a day. During one of the tours we got to stop and get food. Everyone immediately went for the in and out because it’s in and out and they’ve never had it and all that. My grandparents live in socal so I’ve had it before and the line was like an hour long. So me and a few other kids decide to walk around and find this place. We got sat pretty quickly there weren’t many people there. I ordered the Hawaiian or the breakfast crape something with ham in it and the strawberry Nutella one. It was so good I’m sitting awake at night three and some change years later thinking about when the next time I’ll be back to try it is.

A great afternoon snack. We stopped in yesterday and ordered ham and cheese, Nutella and banana, and nutella and strawberry crepes. All excellent. They offer a choice of three cheeses. Service was fast and friendly. They added turkey to my third ham and cheese crepe. Yum!

Edit: Stopped back in for breakfast two days in a row. Crepes just as good. Got the fries, and the garlic fries. Good stuff!

Visiting from IL and my son was tasting for crepes. Two of our 4 orders were not accurate (we asked for no onions, but grilled chicken instead of the breaded version that dish had). Ours came with onions and wrong dish….i think they were on autopilot. No less, when we brought it to their attention the young lady made it all correct with two new crepes, just as ordered. The Wharf is too touristy for my preference but we would swing through for crepes again!

Excellent place. Great taste. French/Belgian style/cuisine. Ordered chicken tenders with fries, sweet crepe nutella + mixed fruit. Was delicious.

I would seriously fly all the way from Minny to eat here again. Service was speedy, food was made in-house with fresh ingredients, and the owner was friendly as could be. A MUST-VISIT, truly.
