I made a reservation for 6 for dinner the week before but we got seated at a booth at the bar which barely fit 5 people. The booth seat was very lumpy and uncomfortable. It took 15 min for the server to even come by and give us water. Then another 15 min before the waiter came to take our order. I ordered the steak medium, which arrived well done, and the fries were extremely salty. The rest of my party had no complaints about their food but overall we thought the seats were uncomfortable and the service was lacking compared to our previous dining experiences at the Dorian.

I don't typically leave bad reviews, and I know that the Dorian is closing in a couple weeks but we came with a group of 10 and they sat as they ran out of all food options and only half of our table got drinks.

Not the staffs fault, probably what happens when ownership changes are on the immediate horizon. Took us an hour to receive drinks. “Lost” the credit card when we tried to pay to the bill and waited 30 minutes to discover they were never going to bring the bill back. Food is still good. But you're better off spending $100 elsewhere. One of the most painful experiences at a restaurant ever. Good riddance Dorian - please never go to Palm House (same ownership). Likely the ownership that treats the employees terribly and doesn't give them the incentives to finish the job.

I used to love the Dorian, the restaurant is very beautiful inside has good vibes, plus great food! Unfortunately the last couple times we came in here the menu is getting smaller and smaller especially the vegetarian options. We found out they will be closing in a month, the wait staff is still very professional and nice.

They were out of the only few vegetarian options, brought drinks very late, and brought our vegetarian friends bacon MULTIPLE times despite us requesting vegetarian substitutes over and over again. We were very disappointed and will not be returning.

I'm very upset with our service. We got seated outside since inside was full. When booking on opentable it's asks if you want standard seating or outdoor seating. I specifically chose standard because I didn't want outdoors! I brought it up to the host and he said inside was first come first serve? I'm not sure why they let you reserve an indoor table when they won't actually reserve it for you? This dinner was for us to celebrate a special occasion so I was planning on ordering a bottle of champagne. It didn't feel right to order a nice bottle of champagne while sitting outside on the street in a dirty little cafe table. So instead we ended up ordering cocktails and an appetizer. After about 20 minutes, our appetizer finally arrived and our cocktails AFTER that. The new recipe for the chicken sliders is awful. I've been going to Dorian for years so i'm familiar with the menu. They tasted like orange chicken from Panda Express. So gross! After finishing our cocktails, it took us a minute to realize we hadn't seen our waiter in a long time & we still hadn't ordered our main courses. Time goes by, and someone from the table next to us goes inside to find our waiter because they have been waiting just as long as we have. When our waiter finally came to take our order we had been sitting there for 45 minutes! We ended up asking for the check because we really weren't enjoying our time there. The waiter SIGHED IN RELIEF when we asked for the check. The restaurant was really busy, the waiter was literally sweating. I understand it must be stressful when busy but he made us feel like we were a complete burden to him. Who does that?! We walked down chestnut to another restaurant to order our champagne and have dinner. The Dorian is closing next month so we were looking forward to having one last hurrah & left so disappointed. Just close already if you don't plan on ending on a high note!

Very slow service for half empty restaurant. Food came 40 minutes late with meat first and oysters at the end. Usually my favorite place but after today definitely will think twice before coming back.

Service wasn't bad. Food was excellent. Moderate amount of noise from other tables, but it's not hard to hear other people in your booth, lighting is not overly bright, but isn't a deep as some of the moodier bars in the area.

After attending the Barbie Pub Crawl Saturday night, which the Dorian participated in, we decided to go back for brunch the following morning before leaving the City because I thought the menu looked interesting. We ordered the billionaire bacon, a Bloody Mary, the Alibi, a Caesar salad, and the bruschetta Benedict. Drinks came right away and both were tasty. The billionaire bacon came out soon after and it was sweet and chewy. After much deliberation, I settled on the bruschetta Benny, which should be noted does not have hollandaise sauce. By itself, that’s not a dealbreaker but the poached eggs were so overcooked that there was no yolk to run and if the server hadn’t have asked me how my food was while my mouth was full, I would have sent it back. She called it the best thing on the menu but the bread was untoasted and the tomatoes were tasteless and without a yolk to create a sauce, it was all just very disappointing. The Caesar salad was beautifully presented with yummy crunchy croutons and velvety dressing that was a tiny bit on the fishy side but in a good way. The problem though, was that once you cut the lettuce into eatable bits, there wasn’t enough dressing to dress it. The bar was beautiful and fun to look at and I’m still curious about the tiramisu French toast so we’ll likely go back at some point to check that out and my boyfriend might even get a liter of their frose’ because it kinda grew on him on the crawl but next time I hope the food tastes as good as it looks on the menu.Kid-friendliness: They were very accommodating to patrons with small children coming in for brunchWheelchair accessibility: This bar is not the most wheelchair accessible venue

Came here for the happy hour and all the apps were slightly odd. The flatbread was pita with cheese on the side and they gave you so much cheese but not that much pita so we just had a bunch leftover but it was too rich to eat on its own. The deviled egg was literally one egg, which makes the $6 price tag seem a bit steep. The drinks were fine, the martini was strong. Probably won't be coming back here but it was worth trying out.

The menu online is not the one they had in the restaurant, which caused some issues for our party due to dietary restrictions. The food was good but we wouldn't have chosen this restaurant if we'd known the actual menu.

Really chill place with amazing food. Plate is empty because I was so hungry I couldn’t even wait to eat. Super delicious Striped Bass and my fiancé got a dry aged steak which was out of this world. This place also had me favorite beer Calicoast Kolsch.

Awesome happy hour menu. We pretty much ordered all the small bites. Their oysters were only $1.75 each! So fresh. We got 3 dozens. Drinks were good too. Service was nice and friendly. Loved the ambiance. Great location!

The Dorian vibes are the best in the evenings and in the mornings too! I loved the brunch menu, specially the little writing for Mimosas. The panna cotta satisfied my dessert cravings for sure
