Wonderful selection of goodies from around the world, all presented in an enticing way.
Do you want to find that special spice, extra special chocolate or unusual gin this is the place.
Love this place, great to get a special treat or a hostess gift!
a fun little neighborhood market - staff is super nice and they have interesting gift assortments (chocolate, booze, cheese). the place to go for that special something that you couldn’t get at a regular market.
Great independent gourmet wine & food shop in several locations throughout San Francisco. Local and international products, baked goods from the best bakeries in SF, holiday specials, etc. Friendly and helpful staff.
Yesterday, I bought a lovely burlap tote bag with faux leather straps that are securely fastened with sturdy brass rivets. The interior has a water-proof coating. The salesperson was so helpful, showing me the different tote bag options. Great purchase at this Epicurean Trader location!
Coffee plus you can shop. Bourbon collection is the best I’ve seen yet in the city. Chocolates are a nice pick up for the wife to offset the bourbon for thyself.
great specialty products, friendly staff
The Epicurean Trader is a delightful place to find all sorts of fun and useful food and drink. I have found tasty ginger snaps, one pot pasta dinners, great cheeses, greeting cards, chocolates, crackers, chips, wine, and any number of other wonderful things. The staff is warm, friendly, helpful, and they always invite you to come again. I am glad to have a place like Epicurean Trader in my world to visit and explore.
Cortland: Guy behind the counter today didn’t acknowledge me, even when I was waiting at the register. He exposed himself while wiping his face, using his own shirt + overcharged me. Just gross.

Went in the other day and was wowed by the amazing selection of fine food and drink. Super helpful and welcoming staff!
Why does this place auto prompt a MINIMUM 20% gratuity when you pay? The grocer is already ridiculously overpriced. $7 for a bunch of wilted green onions? NO THANKS
The flower selection was so bad. The flowers were dead but still full price. Also the lady working behind the register was one of the rudest people Ive ever encounter on the street. This is not Hayes Valley behavior ma’am
This is one of my favorite places to shop for food in SF! They have a great selection of gourmet artisanal food, cheeses, drinks, and home goods. Not to mention nice pastries and drinks.
Epicurean Traders is such a gem!
I love browsing through their curated selection of gourmet groceries — there’s always something new and interesting to discover.
Their pastries are from various local bakeries and absolutely delicious, and the café au lait is so good I keep coming back for more.
The staff are always kind and welcoming, which adds to the warm atmosphere.
And I have to mention the beautiful flower displays by the window — they’re such a mood booster every time I walk by.
Highly recommend this place whether you're grabbing a coffee, picking up something special, or just looking for a little everyday joy.
