What a neighborhood gem! Being a bit out of the way and even more hidden with a bit of street repair, this place was a great find. And it has such a great local history since the late 1800s! This is a rare place, indeed. The restaurant and bar a cozy and have a real nice relaxed vibe. The staff knew their menu and profiles of all the items (bar and kitchen) alike. Just a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is so welcoming and the food was excellent! Our server Cherry was the best and made our date night special! The bar takes mixology very seriously as well. Just a must for a great experience!!! Can't believe they've been in the city since 1883! THANK YOU!

We were so pleased to find this venue on our last night in San Fran. Great selection of tasty food (equal vegetarian to non vegetarian which was a real treat). Lovely cocktails and good wine selection. Exceptional service.
