Incredible local spot for boardgame dates. Food is amazing, highly recommend the Reef sandwich. Reservation recommended as it gets pretty busy

Love the vibe, love the staff, love the cute drinks. Great place to work or play.

Plenty of space to game with a wide selection of games to borrow that are easily marked for complexity. Food was so good! I got the waffle sandwich with turkey and cranberry aoili, still thinking about it 😋 Wide variety of drinks as well. Excellent home for gamers!

Great board game cafe in SF. Loved that their entire menu is gluten free as someone with Celiac. I had no reaction from the food. I had the Japanese fried chicken sandwich; the chicken and slaw were delicious and flavorful but the waffle had no flavor and kind of felt like just extra breading/carbs. Great selection of board games and no maximum time limit (just a $7 entry fee).

Very fun!

People working there are always very friendly and I'm constantly surprised by how good all the food and drink is. With events throughout the week, which are listed online, it's easy to tell when getting a table will be more or less difficult.

I am coming out of a ~five year hiatus from reviewing to express my great appreciation for Game Parlour and the great staff creating an excellent game cafe experience that, if you are lucky enough to get into due to the high demand and relative smallness, will be all you could ask of a board game cafe.

My group of me and my wife, my cousin in from San Jose, and my four year old son got to play Sushi Go Party for a few hours, breaking to enjoy a lunch of surprisingly excellent fries and other fried/sandwich food. While not up to the quality of a standalone cafe, the food was very good and the staff took great care with my cousin who has a lot of dietary restrictions. Seasoned fries a great surprise; iced coffee a big watery let down, unfortunately—the one disappointment of the day.

Despite the very crowded atmosphere, staff took the time to address every question about ingredients and even remade a dish that accidentally contained egg. One took a moment to carefully take a photo of my group for me. The great staff make the place great.

Game Parlour has a great layout with two-tops for quick bites in the front, drop-in four-toppers and long term rental tables in the middle, and two special game tables in the back. The front has a deep discount rack on preplayed games, the perimeter has new-in-shrink games for open browse and buy, plus the hundreds of for-play copies. I bought three games here, all prices reasonable.

Prices are insanely low and prbobaly need to rise on weekends—many groups who walked in a half hour or so after opening were turned away as people enjoyed the all-day entry fee. Nonetheless, if you get in, the ambience is great for gamers. Everywhere, nice folks are playing all manner of game from typical CCGs, multiple D&D-type campaigns, or tabletop board games like us.

Good place to play Magic the Gathering commander if you have a large group and plan in advance.

Was closed on a random Thursday even though it says it’s open on google maps. Suggest to make a reservation through the website or call!!

I don't know how they did it, but they some how got into my brain and created a shop filled with my favorite things. cheap MTG booster packs, cheap board games, cheap and absolutely delicious waffles, ice cream, waffle fries, and fun drinks. Then of course the $7 for unlimited board games of their giant collection of fun games like unstable unicorns, forbidden island, and so much more. I absolutely need them to open up a second location in the central valley, because I would live here if I could.

Great SF table top gaming location with reasonable prices on food and drinks.
