I'd like to echo the reviews referencing the uncalled for attitude you're more than likely to receive here. To the white man with long hair in a half up ponytail and the white woman with short, pink hair who were working last night...
While you might be dressing the parts of the compassionate liberals and using all the accessories of a "chill, accepting, open-minded person" to bypass having to do the actual work of cultivating human connection and understanding, you're actually both the laziest kind of jerks. May this energy never find me again.
And to the owners/management, how many more customers are going to endure this unnecessary treatment before changes are made? This behavior is incredibly impactful and dramatically changes the entire atmosphere of your establishment.
We were just trying to play UNO. It's not that serious.

What an amazing spot & vibe.
The outdoor seating means you can play board games with friends on the street as the sun sets over the sunset district. So beautiful.
Tons of games, entry is $7/each. Games are labeled and organized by style. Lots of people playing various games, and a real sense of community.
The only negatives are the food options. Things here are on the sweet side and definitely not a healthy snack, but more of a gaming binge snack… which we all know leads to sugar comas. I just wish they had a better snack menu, simple waffles instead of crazy expensive heart attack waffles. There is plenty of good food in the area, so not much of a negative ~ just something to be aware of.
Lotsof game stock, dice, and card game merch. Keep up the great vibes!

Great outdoor space. The food was very good, highly recommend the Dracula's Revenge. Good game selection with reasonable table price. Can't wait to come back

Went there for a gaming event. Food and people were amazing. Only 4 star because with so many people, it gets hard to hear each other. Some acoustic improvements would make it 5 stars.

The Game Parlor in San Francisco is a fantastic spot for a fun night out with friends and family. We had a blast playing new games and enjoying the friendly atmosphere. The food, especially the milkshakes, was surprisingly delicious. The staff was helpful and welcoming. If you're looking for a unique experience in San Francisco, The Game Parlor is a must-visit!

They have a solid stock of Magic The Gathering cards & other games, so I’d definitely recommend it if you’re a fan!
The food isn’t meant to be a course meal, just snacks to keep you fed while you play the games. Their waffles are delicious, but their waffle fries are pretty expensive…
Kid-friendliness: Lots of board games to play with your kids!

Entire menu gluten free!!!! Menu is a bit wacky but delicious! Excellent place to spend an afternoon with friends or family! Tons of games to choose from or just come and eat! There should be a discount on the gaming price if you spend a certain amount on food, though.
Moist towelettes or antibacterial hand wipes at the table would be a nice touch as we wondered about greasy waffle fry fingers touching all the games!
Excellent food and drink and service, unique and delicious! The sweet waffles were very sweet!

I came here during a long trip through the US, for only one reason: Buy a single die, like I had done in every city. No single die to be found for sale, I explained my intentions to the person behind the counter and this kind soul simply gifted me a die from the shops private supply. I was so touched, I ended up buying a full extra set of dice because I wanted to support the store a little bit as well. All seats were full, and the atmosphere seemed super nice. Food looked great, too - I did not have time to stay and eat unfortunately. Thank you again for being so sweet to me - I love the die you gifted me the most out of all I collected on my trip!

Was different but fun
It's pretty decent for board games, but some board games are very much used more than others. The food is honestly very good, even in comparison to the main draw of board games.
Parking: You can find parking like within a three block radius.

This place is amazing…the customer service was excellent, clean and friendly atmosphere. They make the best lattes I’ve ever had. I usually put cinnamon in my latte, however, I didn’t have to add ANYTHING! And let’s get started on the turkey avocado sandwich!!!!! Hands down…a perfect blend on waffle, meat and whatever the sauce is that they put on it? Yummy. Last, I’ve never seen so many games. I brought my own chess board, but didn’t need it. They also have timers! Go for the experience, you won’t regret it!
