We ordered standard breakfast and the French toast. Everything was terrible; no flavor, poorly prepared, just not good overall. Even my vanilla latte tasted bitter, a lot like ground dirt.

The perfect breakfast spot (except you order at the counter) fantastic scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. Bacon is that thick fatty kind. Not my style. But otherwise amazing!

I have tough standards for a Rueben sandwich, originally being from NY. This sandwich was outstanding! Automatically coming with Pastrami instead of Corned Beef is not usual, but definitely my preference so that was great. Thick slices conveyed the rich flavor. The rye bread did not have the usual caraway seeds, but had great taste.
I would have this sandwich again.
The Grove has a good atmosphere with funky decor and some classic Rock and Roll images.

I don't recommend working people doing too much work.

been coming here for years. good and drink are excellent and it's a great location for lunch and a visit to the SF MoMA
expect a line to the counter during rush hour. service folks are great but you order at a counter so the floor staff can get overwhelmed and tricky to flag down depending on where you sit.

"Still The One!" ❤️ I was a regular at the Grove back in '07 through '14 when I moved to Colorado and I visit when I return to The City for work on Mission. Their breakfast sandwich is the best part of walking Mission Street in the morning, especially in the lovingly crafted rock 'n roll in the trees aesthetic. They're also a great place to visit before a movie at the AMC and now have a full bar as well. For a walk to work in the morning, a hearty lunch or a casual evening dinner 'n movie, The Grove is where you'll find me.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience. We went there on a sunday evening (a week ago) and my husband got sick with food poising from the grove reuben sandwich. The place was pretty empty. Wouldn’t recommend to go there on the weekend.

Incredible breakfast! I ordered the eggs Benedict and could not be more happy. Highly recommend for a great, well priced meal downtown.

Comfy food and atmosphere, staff was beyond amazing. Special thanks to Abel for being so kind to my Mom. Only recommendation is to have a kids menu- my kid had three bites of $20 Mac and cheese

I'm disappoined that we only found this restaurant on the last day of our stay, or we'd have been back again. Awesome food - we had the prime rib and the pork ribs, both of which were excellent. The prime rib particularly just about melted.
Staff were friendly, service was quick and there was a really enjoyable atmosphere and buzz.

A portal into another dimension in downtown SF. The pictures don't do it justice.
The food is not gourmet but is fairly priced.
Highly recommend.
