Food was good if a little salty. Simple fare. Would personally prefer a cheaper price for just a rice bowl instead of a set. I got the unagi don and the eel was soft and thin but I prefer thicker and meatier eel.
Walked by here while I only had about half an hour of a break and my order was ready in minutes after speaking with one of the ladies. My set was not wrapped in a handkerchief as you would see on older pictures, but the folks were super sweet so we may return to try more. Got the Omakase Nigiri Combo and it looked pretty and tasted good too. Little pricey, but it was the fastest available thing in my vicinity and I’m satisfied with my choice
I was really looking forward on getting a bento box with a fancy handkerchief but I guess they stopped packaging it that way...Arrived on a weekday right when it opened. Ordered for 3 and waited for about 10mins. I think it’s made to order. The Japanese lady was nice and courteous.Omakase was pricey but the fish was FRESH — probably one of the better Japanese sushi places at SF.
