Great atmosphere for chilling, talking over glass of wine and snacks! Food portions are small. Barbera tasted very good

Stopped in here for a late night drink which turned into 4 glasses of very good wine. The owner was very nice and the other girl working were very helpful in wine selections. Can’t rate the food because I only had drinks but definitely worth a stop in if you’re in the area.

Stylish warm space with amazing wines by-the-glass & a great space for events! Danielle owner/operator does an amazing job with procuring the highest quality classic & modern wine selections paired with tasty charcuterie & small bites. This is a perfect date spot, gathering spot with friends, apertivo, and/or pre-theater drink spot. The list always has great extensive examples of wine types from around the world & is one of the best wine destinations in San Francisco if you love vino!

Wow the food is bad. And when we shared our thoughts they were almost offended that we insulted their food. Who serves ritz crackers with cheese/pate?

The wine selection is great, really good wine.

Also, they have a “new” area for Xmas which they call a “speakeasy” - but looks more like a depressing office xmas party. So I would suggest only going in if you can be in the main bar area.

We recently visited the Wine Society in San Francisco and had a mixed experience. The food was delightful, and the wine flights were well-curated and enjoyable.

However, the service left much to be desired. From the start, we felt as though our business was not wanted. Our server seemed disinterested and unengaged. When we tried to discuss one of the wines we particularly enjoyed, we received no interaction or enthusiasm in return. It was disappointing to see a lack of passion for the wines they were selling, which unfortunately dampened what could have been a fantastic experience.

Overall, while the food and wine flights were commendable, the service detracted significantly from our visit.

Won’t complain about hyper overpriced wine (it’s still downtown SF) but service was quite cold, distant and snobby. Crab arancini was good though

A nice little restaurant tucked away in San Francisco downtown. Great selection of wines to suit every palate and food to match.
The bocce area is cramped but fun.

Such an amazing venue. Great for after work crowd. When not crowded, it’s perfect for having an after work convo. Love love loveAnd you can tell they pay attention to detail because the bathrooms are the best in the city.

Been here a few times for drinks or a happy hour and SF Wine Society is a gem. It has a fun bocce court, is well decorated with a sense of atmosphere, and the folks here really know a lot about wine. And as random a compliment as this is to give, the bathroom here is seriously decadent, beautifully designed and fancy??? I think that alone is a testament to the care put into this place. All the food is really delicious so I recommend getting something to go along with your drinks!
