I have found a new favorite bar. Wandered in because I was curious, and was pleasantly surprised. It's a historic bar with GORGEOUS interiors, friendly service, fun historical anecdotes, and there was live music when I was there. I will definitely be back, and hopefully in time to catch the sandos!

Whenever we asked the bartender (with glasses) for anything, he looked at us and responded to us in an unfriendly tone that made us feel uncomfortable.
One of the oldest bars in SF, very interesting drinks and good vibes.
Much smaller than I expected.
Get your Bette's Chicken Parm sando next door at the Sentinel and eat it in the Bar with the awesome bartenders.

Ver cool old-school bar. It was very quiet at 3pm on a Thursday. I had a Manhattan, which was delicious. Recommended!
Stopped by after dinner for drinks. So not miss this place, it is a charm of a spot that has an awesome whisky selection.

Got a great Manhattan. Bartenders were fantastic. Atmosphere was ok. I never know how to rate places like this.
If you're expecting a high end cocktail bar like bourbon and branch, this isn't it. That's what I was expecting based on the reviews, hence my rating. It was good, no complaints, but if you want something swanky this isn't it.
If you want an old school vibe with solid cocktails without frills, check this place out. You will love it.
