Unpleasant dinner experience in SF for the first time. The reviews raved about the food and with multiple locations, I expected authentic Italian food. The flat bread appetizer was so dry and crispy , it shouldn’t be an appetizer at all. Spaghetti with marinara & gnocchi with pesto was just ok. Worst was the veggie ravioli with marinara. My son complained it didn’t taste good so I tried it and thought it was ok. Next bite, I too got a different taste - kind of old or maybe spoilt food taste. By the time , I concluded it wasn’t right, most of it was already eaten. I did let the staff know who didn’t care. Expensive , unhealthy food. Don’t recommend.

We stumbled here by accident and it was probably one of the best pasta meals I’ve had outside of Italy at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

If you’re looking for fresh pasta and authentic Italian cuisine, this spot in San Francisco is simply exceptional. On my first visit to the city, I had the chance to try it, and I was truly impressed. The quality of the dishes is outstanding: balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and pasta with a texture that transports you straight to Italy.
I ordered the ravioli with tomato sauce, which were absolutely spectacular so good that I didn’t even manage to take a photo. The pesto pasta and the Bolognese are also remarkable for their authentic flavor and impeccable preparation. Portions are just right for one person and leave you fully satisfied.
The restaurant is often crowded a great sign of its popularity and they make the pasta in house, which you can watch while you wait for your order. Finding parking around North Beach (Little Italy) may take a bit of patience, but it’s completely worth it.
In summary, a delicious and authentic culinary experience. If you visit San Francisco, I highly recommend stopping by and trying their pasta. Especially the ravioli! 🍝

It genuinely feels like dining in Italy — both the service and the food. Their Lasagna is amazing.

This is the kind of place that reminds you someone’s “Nonna” is still in the kitchen.
The meat lasagna? A revelation — rich, hearty, and blissfully free of that ricotta overload that plagues so many pretenders. The burrata salad tastes like a love letter from the Italian countryside. And the pesto pasta… well, let’s just say it’s the kind of dish that makes you question your life choices.
Authentic, soulful, and crafted with a level of care you can taste in every bite. You’ll walk out full, happy, and possibly sporting a new accent.
So watching another local review it made me want to try myself. It is located in North Beach which is the Little Italy of San Francisco. Vibe is homey, you can choose what kind of pasta with which kind of meat that I find very family oriented. I only ordered the flat noodle with marinara sauce and it tasted like a home cooked meal plus the fact that the pasta was fresh! Halfway chowing it I realized I wish they gave free bread even a slice or two. Indoor & outdoor seating with TransAmerica building as a view was a plus. Would come back here again! 😋🍝👍🏼

Got vegetarian ravioli with pesto sauce and vegetarian lasagna. Both were super delicious and fresh.
The atmosphere was great, and the staff were nice.
You order inside and clean your own table.
The ravioli was a bit inconsistent in doneness and had less sauce than the non-vegetarian options.
The portions were okay.
The day we went, a parade was happening, which made it nice and lively.
