Knowing there's convention ongoing at Moscone Center on 6/23, I arrived 4pm ish so it was pleasantly quiet to chat with my friend. Then by 5:15pm on, the noise level + music increased a lot. Overall our bubbly was pleasing and quality of food was decent though serving size smaller!
The ambiance of the restaurant was great. The music was amazing as well. We ordered the calamari, steak frites, and the fried chicken Cesar sandwich. All of it was amazing. it would have been nice if our server checked in on us a little more. Otherwise it was great and we will be coming back!
I was expecting a much fancier place based on some of the images I saw online. It was much more of a lounge feel (still good, just different than expected). We had an issue with our server being very frustrated and difficult to work with. The guy picking up our dishes was very nice. The noise was extremely loud. Not sure if this was because of a particular group we were sitting next to or the acoustics were just poor, but this may have been part of the issue with our server. The food was incredible and made everything worth it.
We got mushroom risotto and pork chops and both were delicious! Service was professional and prompt.
The food was good, however the pacing was really off. We were specific about wanting certain items as a shareable/appetizer versus as a main dish. Instead, pretty much the entire order came to our table at the exact same time bombarding us with food. This was not what we expected and made us feel very cramped at a small table.
Love the Harlequin for its reliable drink, service, vibe, and location. It is one of our pre-theater dining locations that never disappoints. We happened to be there for happy hour and got a deal on oysters and a cocktail. All the food was quite good, the oysters, tartar, octopus, and pasta. Beef in the pasta was not as tender as we would have liked, but the rest of the meal was spot on. Wine by the glass offered a good Pinot and Malbec.
The service was excellent and the food was very good. The atmosphere was fun but the one thing I would suggest is music that more meets the ambience of an old building. Maybe jazz or blues or something other than rap music and pop. Otherwise we had a wonderful time.
Phil was great with helping us set up our marketing happy hour. He was flexible with the changes we made, and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The event itself was set up perfectly, and the service was outstanding. Thank you for hosting our group, we will absolutely be back again.
They kept the kitchen open, specifically for us, after we had a performance! Such a life saver in a city where finding good food after 9pm is such a struggle! Thank you Harlequin!
The atmosphere was pleasant. The beverage was of nic and the service was good. The food was average.

We came here for hour happy hour after a visit to SFMoMA. We had great wine and shareables — calamari, kale salad, fried chicken sliders and roasted brussel spouts. Everything was delicious! We had a really delightful waitress and were greeted nicely when we entered. Would definitely do a repeat visit!
Dinner at 6pm. The lighting was so low that I could hardly see my food. First waitress got the order wrong and brought out a meat dish for my vegetarian date. The second waitress was great and salvaged the rest of the night. Food was good but overpriced. The drinks were excellent. Would go back for drinks.
Great drinks and food! Servers were all super friendly and they made my birthday super special!
Local spot super busy service was good considering... can't comment on specialty drinks so I'd just say cool spot nothing special.

Nice place. Got kicked out due to private event, but wasn’t told about it until we were asked to move along. Would have been nice to know when we sat down. Still - was a nice happy hour and staff was pleasant.
