So I was lucky enough to give this place a try during a closed event hosted by the Seoul sisters and the Hoo Lee Gans. Pretty cool vibe and atmosphere when you walk in. Extensive drink list and pretty skilled bartenders tend to your thirsty soul while the home cooked Korean style street food dishes caress your belly. As it was a closed event , the food was a buffet style, help yourself and gubble it up style. Regardless the food was spot on. I really enjoyed the onion pancake. This dish is as simple as it looks it is actually rather tricky to make. The popcorn chicken was tender, the kimchi zesty yet firm and tender.
I suggest you give it a try and work yourself through their menu.
Surprisingly legit Korean food, down to the cheese corn and tofu soup!
This place is amazing! We came for a girls night and left feeling like it was a memorable night out.
Good:
- The food is all amazing - loved the korean dishes like the gimbap and the american ones like the tater tots and the tofu stews
- It's super easy to share - the kimchi mushroom dish was harder to share but it was quite the unique dish
- The owner came and hung out with us for a bit in the middle too and then gave me birthday shots, which was so much fun!
- The live DJ was super fun
Bad:
- Food does take a while to come out and we had to ask about where one of our dishes went, but they all eventually came out
- It can get loud inside
Overall such a good experience and loved how much care the staff seemed to put into making this a great new place to go!
You can watch warriors, 49ers, sports etc. and have incredible Korean food and drinks!!
Great service, great food, great vibes, fun place to go to in the excelsior!
Delicious Korean food! Had the kimchee fried rice, tteok bokki, and original fried chicken. Did not disappoint.
Only open Friday and Saturday nights. It's def a vibe! Dope to see late night energy in Excelsior ✨
Amazing food
What a vibe!! Great food. Great service. And you just try a so-maek!!! Or 2
Love this place so much! Ina, Nick the whole fam and staff are the best! Know you are family and are taken care of when you walk in the doors of the korner store! The food is delicious! There’s a drink for everyone and for whatever mood you are in! Strong, sweet and even non alcoholic offerings! The music is great and they have great event nights - from kpop nights, game nights and even learn and practice your dj skills nights! It’s a great late night addition to the Excelsior and worth checkin out!

We had such a fun time at the Korner store. The service was amazing and we loved everything we ordered - gyeurin jjim, fried chicken wings and kimchi fried rice. We are definitely coming back!

Awesome place for groups! Wonderful food, outstanding staff, and a dance floor! What more could I ask for?!
Vegetarian options: The veggie pot stickers and seaweed salad are delicious
Dietary restrictions: Their staff is super dedicated so just let them know your restrictions and they will help. I wanted to make the ube drink non-dairy and the bartender was reading ingredients and totally on it! I ended up getting another drink that was super yummy!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Two children were dancing in the dance floor with us. So cute and fun!

Super fun space with cool, delicious cocktails, and yummy Korean food! I had their gimlet which was really refreshing, and my husband had the kimchi sour which was weird, interesting, and so good that he ordered it again! We had the original fried chicken with 3 different sauces (sweet and spicy, garlic soy, and yuzu jalapeño) and kimchi fried rice with a fried egg on top, and it was so delicious! Looking forward to coming back and trying the other drinks and food on the menu
