Ordered 3 chicken tacos and they loaded all tacos with watery salsa that made the tortillas soggy. These aren’t real Mexican tacos - they taste flavorless with a slightly warmed, tough tortilla.

Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the variety of salsas that came with the free chips that come with the meal, and my picky eater loved the chicken taco for kids. As an adult, I loved the plantain and black bean taco, and my daughter enjoyed some of it, too. Yum!!

Amazing gluten free options. The margarita was made with orange juice though? Triple sec is a orange liqueur, OJ is not a suitable alternative.

We had steak tacos and they were amazing, loved the music and it's volume, loved the style eccentric and not pretentious. The employees were super nice and sweet energy!

I ordered the Garlic Shrimp bowl. Though I was impressed with the looks of the meal, I was disappointed in the taste. For it being “garlic” shrimp, it lacked garlic and/or the flavor of garlic. My sister and nephew both ordered the Shrimp Diablo tacos that was supposed to come with a side of rice and beans. They forgot to give them their rice and beans and the description of the tacos said it would come with strips of poblano—it didn’t. The corn tortillas tasted old and the meat—also lacked flavor. The only salsa we had that had flavor was the one on my plate. While in San Francisco, I won’t be choosing this place again to eat Mexican food.

The restaurant is nice and clean. The decor is interesting and really cool. But the food, it lacks big time in Mexican flavors.

Fabulous vegan plantain and black beans bowl. Added grilled wild mushrooms for $3. So worth it! Easy to customize online. I picked up tomatillo avocado sauce from the salsa bar, which was mild spice level but citrusy and perfect for my taste buds. Easily 2 meals for me. Watermelon agua fresca was good. Didn't taste the mint. Hubby loved his strong cafe horachata. Service friendly & fast. Clean and neat food areas. 1st time here, but it won't be my last!

Holy moly this tortilla soup!! I’m still eating it but had to jump on here because it’s just too good!!!!! Broth = insanely good flavor, toppings = everything you ever dreamed (these blocks of cheese!!!). I’ve had the rest of the menu too here which is all quite good but this soup is LEGENDARY. Wow….!!!!?
