Holy moly this tortilla soup!! I’m still eating it but had to jump on here because it’s just too good!!!!! Broth = insanely good flavor, toppings = everything you ever dreamed (these blocks of cheese!!!). I’ve had the rest of the menu too here which is all quite good but this soup is LEGENDARY. Wow….!!!!?

In our family trip to San Francisco we stopped to eat at this restaurant. The food was amazing and the ambiance was great.

The food was great, specially the Al Pastor tacos. The service was excellent! Shout out to the staff for their cheerful disposition. Just wish they had tables outside ?

the food used to be good....burrito was soggy, tasteless and tepid even though I picked it up within ten minutes of ordering it. I felt overcharged for what seemed like yesterday's leftovers not a freshly made burrito. Do not eat here.

It's a nice place to sit, service is great. but the food is just bland. Any taqueria would be better.

Pretty awesome tacos place in the neighborhood! We tried about 5 different tacos, they were also so good. But what stood out for us were to Al Pastor and Soyrizo and the Salmon. Definitely coming back for those! The chicken tortilla soup was also pretty good just that it could have been more hot. It was just lukewarm when it got to us!

A little too many veggies on the shrimp and beef burrito in my personal opinion but that's just bc I'm childish. Super bussin would recommend.

I am vegetarian and i love a good burrito bowl. I looooove this spot for a solid bowl with plenty of options for me! I also love that they have 5 different salsas that you can take yourself, so they are not stingy with the salsas: they are all delicious, especially the chipotle!

Had the steak and shrimp bowl. Safe to say it was a solid choice. Excellent food with great spice. Be warned though the spice is medium to high.

All I have to say is to get the black bean plantain burrito. It is uniquely made and creatively delicious, and my go-to whenever I get takeout from The Little Chihuahua. With their fast service, it's always an easy decision to pop by for one. I usually will grab an avocado from my fridge and spoon it onto each bite, as an extra little touch. Their chips and salsa (from a self-serve little salsa bar) are also top notch, don't forget them with your meal!

“Alright, fellow San Franciscans and adventurous visitors, listen up! If your taste buds are screaming for some Mexican cuisine with a twist, Little Chihuahua breaks the mold and deserves your attention. This isn’t your typical taco shop; it’s a haven for carnivores, vegans and anyone looking to spice things up. Here’s why it’s a standout:This place has a great menu made with fresh ingredients and has a vegan-friendly menu that’ll even make your meat-loving uncle raise an eyebrow in curiosity. My customized gluten-free, wet, soy chorizo burrito with black beans and sautéed mushrooms, was epic! But beware, it’s as big as a baby seal – I managed to finish mine, but it was a close call and my girlfriend was impressed. Now, it’s a bit pricier than your usual taqueria – we’re talking two tacos, a burrito, and a can of wine for a cool $50. So maybe check your piggy bank first. And a hot tip: my burrito was not as warm as I would have liked. I wanted the experience of sunny California, not the foggy side of the Golden Gate!In all, I’m giving Little Chihuahua a solid four and a half stars. It’s a gem, but just like our city, it’s not perfect. Still, definitely worth a visit!”1. Vegan Fried Plantain - This dish is a game changer. It’s not just the crispy, sweet plantains that’ll get you; it’s the perfect mix of roasted bell peppers, fresh pico de gallo, and smoky chile salsa that brings this dish to life. A true fusion of flavors!2. Grilled Veggie & Soyrizo - Think you know soyrizo? Think again. Paired with roasted cauliflower, grilled corn, poblanos, and onions, this dish elevates the humble soy chorizo to new heights. It’s a symphony of smoky, spicy, and savory that’ll have you rethinking vegan options.3. TLC Regular - Simple but extraordinary, featuring the freshest pico de gallo, crisp cabbage salad, and that signature smoky chile salsa. It’s the kind of dish that makes you appreciate the beauty of fresh, quality ingredients.4. Make it Super - For an extra $2, you can add a protein punch to your meal. Choose from soy chorizo, grilled vegetables, wild mushrooms, or even vegan beans (pinto or black, refried or not). It’s customization at its finest, and a dream for those who love to mix and match.5. Tortilla Choices - They’ve got everyone covered. Flour, whole wheat, and even gluten-free options (for a small extra charge) ensure that no one misses out on the goodness. In a city like San Francisco, where culinary innovation is the norm, Little Chihuahua stands out with its commitment to vegan-friendly, creative Mexican cuisine. It’s a place where traditional flavors meet modern dietary needs, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!Dietary restrictions: Vegan and GF options to bootParking: Not a lot of spaces but I found one in less than 5 mins mid day.
