It's an absolutely amazing place. The food is superb and the service...Ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen
This is the only dinner restaurant at Ritz and had 2 dinners here. First dinner i had soup with bread and the latter better than the former. Second dinner was the xmas set menu and the soup was similar, and the bread also not so good. Main of salmon also average. Dessert was ok
I enjoyed food in this lounge several times when i went to lunch her with my co-workers. Corn soup was great. I also get the salmon salad. My co-workers got cesar salad. One time we got won ton soup. Very good, but won ton was small. Service is very attentive. Not too many people.
Great food and Amazing cocktails!
My parents live two blocks from the Ritz and are frequent diners of the bar restaurant.Me, my parents, and my sister ate lunch there yesterday and all have gotten the worst food poisoning I have ever experienced in my life. My sister and I had to be hospitalized. We all ate different meals, and no one had anything to eat prior to lunch. The reaction was immediate, only about 20 minutes after we left.Food poisoning happens - but this has been extreme. The fact that we all had different meals and are all this sick is highly concerning and makes me seriously question the cleanliness of the kitchen. It's 24 hours later with little to no relief. This is the worst I've ever felt after a meal. Do yourself a favor and do not dine here.
The service was not good unfortunately. I think our server had too many tables so we did not get the attention I expected. Also the food was just ok for the price we paid. My burger was nothing special. My husband's steak was delicious though. Hopefully they can improve.
My wife and I were married at the Ritz Carlton 25 years ago and were quite excited to celebrate New Years with friends in the Lobby Lounge. I'm sorry to say everything was barely passable to unacceptable. I realize we are older than the average crowd there but the musical entertainment was weak and terribly out of character for an establishment the level of RC. I expect to pay a good amount at a 5 star location, but the tiny portions and very mediocre food were very disappointing. On top of that, when we were presented with the bill which was to be split, I was charged one half and the other party the full amount. This was remedied of course, but sure didn't look very good after everything else. Once again, I'm sorry to report this after all my good memories there. I think they can do better.
stopped for a quick bite before the Michelle Obama event on December 10th. I drove in from Marin & had tire pressure issues (screw in my tire I learned later). I contacted the lobby bar through OpenTable because Inwas running late. I want to personally thank Mr Daniel Delgado the food & beverage manager who was concerned with my safety on that rainy night. I will recommend the Ritz to all my friends and relative across the pond the next time they come to visit
Celebrated my husband's birthday at the lounge with an overnight stay at the Ritz. Our server was Stephanie and another young lady who's name I don't remember but is equally deserving of recognition. Everyone we encountered helped to make the event memorable. The food was delicious. Stephanie recommend the Cauliflower appetizer. Who new Cauliflower could taste so good. Portion sizes are small, but filling.
Very nice place, not many tables but we were sat immediately. They seemed understaffed which was sad to see for such a nice place, but we had great service nonetheless. Wonderful food.

The Lobby Lounge is exactly as promised, a lounge in the lobby. It’s small, quaint and all around a nice place to grab drinks if you’re staying at the hotel. But… way overpricedNow onto the food——————————Amuse Bouche: Can’t do any wrong when the food is freeCaesar Salad: $18 for a Caesar salad and it ain’t even cut. And call me uncultured, but I don’t think anchovies have a place on lettuceWagyu Burger: Wagyu, where’g’you at? (3 star pun for 3 star review). Decent burger but for the price; Bun too bready, beef not fatty enough, sauce not strong enough.Fries: These are ‘potato first’ fries (light crisp outside, meaty potato inside). The ketchup was more like a pepper marinara which caught the ketchup essence without all the sweetness.
From the high end service and the host who are very professional and offered us a complimentary champagne and snacks due to late check in even though we don't mind at all waiting, we had so much fun with my boyfriend who is celebrated his birthday with a classic surprised that they pay attention to my notes for him. Thank you so much and will be back again soon! ❤️
The food was very good and the service was excellent. Our only negative comment is that the background music was too loud, especially for a quiet and elegant lounge in an exquisite hotel.
Although the food was good at the Lobby Lounge, in my opinion, there was not much to choose from on the menu. The service was great, the bathrooms very clean and Valet Parking was great.
