The lounge is nice and warmly lit with football games playing on TVs near the bar counter. We had a few bar snacks to go with our Presidio Fall Spritz and Affogato. The drinks were excellent all around. They were, however, very expensive with the spritz coming in at $30. I suppose that is to be expected when you have a drink at the Ritz so I won’t hold it against them.
The Exploratorium has been a huge part of my life. Growing up in San Francisco, I went there constantly, and it’s what first sparked my love for science. I’ll never forget the old location it’s a childhood memory I’ll always hold onto, but the new space on the waterfront is such an upgrade and so much more accessible for everyone. Every exhibit is so well thought out, creative, and fun to explore. No matter how many times I visit, there’s always something new to discover....
We came on a Sunday afternoon. Great and fun place for children and adults. So many activities everywhere you look. Family Vibes. Live shows. Cafes. Staff available to help. Outside exhibits. Rooftop exhibit. Always recommend to others. Spend about 4 hours there but could do 5 to see more exhibits.
