This so-called “cafeteria” is an insult to both cuisine and common sense. For the obscene tuition students bleed into USF’s pockets, you’d think they could produce something edible more often than the rare Tuesday nachos; which, at best, taste like a last-minute apology. Instead, one can only wonder which offshore account the millions are funneled into, because it clearly isn’t the food budget. If you care about your health, avoid this place like it’s radioactive. Everything is fried, drowned in grease, or presented under the thin disguise of a “salad bar,” which is less a nod to nutrition and more a cynical prop to say, “see, we tried.” Honestly, you’d get more wholesome sustenance, and dignity, ordering a protein-style burger at In-N-Out. The staff are the only redeeming quality, but even their politeness can’t polish what is essentially culinary malpractice. If you’re not a USF student and want to simulate the experience, save yourself the tuition bill: just visit a portapotty, grab a plate of waste, strip it of all sodium, and you’ll be holding a perfect replica of a USF meal. That this institution dares to charge nearly $90,000 a year while serving food that would embarrass a truck stop diner is disgraceful. UCLA (a public university, mind you) manages to serve the best campus food in the nation while offering a stronger education at a fraction of the price. USF should hang its head in shame. To anyone considering enrolling here or eating here: don’t. Your body, your wallet, and your dignity deserve better.

Low quality food at premium prices. There’s a lot of variety, sure, but ultimately it’s just a lot of overpriced crap.

You would think that a private school would invest in better cafeteria food for its students.

So many options! There’s a Mexican burrito station, a grill with chicken, burgers, tenders, fries (which are the best), Roma Italian station, and then a revolving ever changing menu with assorted food with always a protein, carb, veggie and fruit/salad! There’s a salad bar open 11am-close. Overall, even though it can be semi expensive if you’re not using your dining dollars, the quality of food is good for a dining hall! They also have a sandwich station too during lunch M-F. The staff members are so friendly too! They always have a vegan, gf, and vegetarian options :)

Man. Steak is overcooked. Carrots are so raw they're more chewy than the steak.

Overpriced and greasy. It's fine at first, but when it's your only food option as a student, you quickly grow sick of it.
