Burgers are decent, and their mac & cheese is good. However, their fries are borderline garbage. But their shakes are delicious. Since they’re open super late, I occasionally order from them when I’m in a pinch. It’s not my first choice, but it’s a decent option when I need something quick and nothing else is available.

Absolutely hate to have to write this but it’s been on my mind for 3 days and just gotta let folks know.
My gf and I visited this place on Friday and were very excited to try it out as we’ve read good things and love the easy delicious looking food they serve. After entering we noticed it was very popular and crowded with people which even made it more exciting as we knew we came to the right spot! The gal at the counter helped us was very polite and recommended a couple different things which we ended up ordering.
We sat down and were waiting for our food when we heard a little commotion from the order desk. What we saw was kind of disturbing. We noticed a homeless person being told to leave (not sure what may have transpired before) but the guy was walking backwards telling the security guard he was leaving. The security guard kept physically assaulting the man even after saying he was leaving and was actively retreating backward. The security guard kept kicking him very hard and kept acting like he was going to punch the homeless man. Even at one point started to “bob and weave” in a much more boxing style as if he felt he was the next Canelo or something. The homeless man dropped his jacket and attempted to retrieve it and the guy security kicked him yet again.
Issue continues outside where we noticed the security continuously kicking and attempted to hit him some more. Shortly after an employee from the melt went outside and told the security that was enough and the security backed off.
All and all this was a bad first impression that was very unsettling. Again, not sure what may have happened beforehand but to physically assault someone as they retreat is NOT right.

Looking at 20 usd minimum. Welcome to San Fran :/ Bad food is expensive here, so you might as well have good food.

A chain in the style of Five Guys or Super Duper. I have the impression that it is somewhere in the middle. Street food fancy decor, efficient ordering system. I took the company's "melted" - correct, but then I realized that I could choose toppings for it that made it something more than a greasy bun. Sweet potato fries a bit burnt and overly salted, but NaCL does not skimp here. Solid hamburger place without surprises.

Great for late-night dinner after work. I come here multiple times a week. And I love their shakes.
The spicy chicken sandwich is one of my favorites, but sometimes the chicken isn’t cooked well. It’s very uneven cooking, and sometimes it’s not crispy at all. I think I’ll start putting a note to make it extra crispy.
Other than that, they provide great service and are fast and convenient for someone who gets off work at 2 a.m.
Great food and good service. But unfortunately very rude security guard. I and my wife have a baby stroller and tells us to leave it by the door and won't let us in if we don't leave it by the door. How are we gonna leave our child unattended by the door. He's a dark color person. Other security guard are very friendly and kind but unfortunately every time we see this one security guard who doesn't wanna provide a name always tells us no baby stroller even if it's rains...... even moves bikes away from veiw

Overall I thought the food here was good, the Spicy Mission Burger was good and the Snickerdoodle shake was delicious! Parmesan Garlic fries were also smackin’, loaded with cheese and garlic. Staff here always seem disconnected tho.
Very disappointed with my last experience here. My boyfriend and I come here often, we literally drive out here from the east Bay Area because we love the food so much! And the service is usually great too. But that was definitely not the case tonight… so my boyfriend had to do a few things in the area tonight and I came with him to keep him company even though I wasn’t feeling very well. I had to use the restroom so I figured I’d go to The Melt because they’ve always been very nice to me when it comes to using their restroom, whether I buy something or not. But tonight was a different story because when I go in, (and I thought my congested voice and face mask made it clear I wasn’t feeling well) I go up to the counter and very politely ask for the code for the restroom and the guy tells me I need to buy something. And I was in a little bit of a hurry so I asked if I could do that after I used the restroom and he literally told me no, he wouldn’t give me the code until I bought something. So at this point, I don’t even want to buy anything because of this bull shit that I never expected to come from the employees here just because they’ve always been so nice and chill here. So because I really had to use a restroom, he won with his plan to exploit that so I bought a milkshake and he then finally gives me the code. So I go to the restroom and as I’m washing my hands, security is literally BANGING on the door like non stop until I finished washing my hands and opened the door! He hit the door so hard it startled me so bad my heart stopped! It was just all such a horrible experience and so unnecessary. We definitely will be thinking twice because coming here again.
