I enjoyed this restaurant when it was in the mission in San Francisco and really was hoping that it would add another good option for Rockridge. I'm certain that it is a good place to have some beers, but it really isn't up to the standard of the neighborhood in terms of its food offerings. Limited selection and one of the entrées was not available with no substitution and quality of the food was just acceptable.
We love Monks Kettle! We were very sad when it moved out of SF, but happy to have found it alive and well in the East Bay! Enjoyed the music choices, too. And very grateful for the late-night menu, thank you!
