Food was delicious and service amazing. Everyone was helpful and table by the fire was perfect. We will return.
It was my first time going there and I really enjoyed it. The food was great. I came for a business dinner and the noise level was perfect to have a great conversation. Ended up spending 4 hours there. I will definitely come back.
Service was great. Loved the artwork and the ambiance. Best hamburger I've had in a long time
We had dinner at The Post on Thanksgiving evening with a $120 per person prix fixe. The ambience was very nice, although the noise level was quite loud and the piano player's choice of music was less than desriable. The food was decent but nothing special and overpriced given the portions. The soup was good but you didn't get much. The salad and mash potatoes were average. The fish was too salty, the turkey was dry and chewy. The steak and stuffing were good. The pumpkin pie was tiny and not particularly tasty. Bottom line...way too expensive for the quality and quantity of food. You would expect better for a Thanksgiving Day meal at half the price.
The food was delicious! The waiter -fabulous! The ambiance - beautiful . The cocktails - perfect. The tables in the bar are uncomfortable and there was a cold breeze blowing through the room . I wish you could make the bar - the bar and the restaurant - a cozy restaurant .
We been there for thanksgiving 2025. The restaurant offered us a 5 times course menu , it was REALLY GOOD. It was worth it don't cook at home! The restaurant locations is inside the hotel, very pretty. The ambience is really nice. And everyone was nice and helpful
We were there for their Thanksgiving dinner. First and foremost our server Krystal was Fantastic. She was great considering how busy they were that night. Their martini's were made well, a touch weak, but made well. The Butternut Squash soup was good. The Duck Confit Salad was also nice but not enough duck. Overall, the entrees were a miss. The sole was nice but incredibly salty. The New York, was also disappointing, as we weren't asked how we'd like it cooked and it came out fairly well done. The Turkey, not sure what they were thinking, but was bone dry. The sliver of pumpkin pie was good but it was just a sliver. The wine glasses, weren't correct for a really great cab and the glasses smelled funny. Overall it wasn't worth the money spent. Which was disappointing, considering it was a Thanksgiving event. I think the restaurant tried to do too much. They may have been better off either doing carving stations a buffet but not a family style per table.
Our family had other plans so we decided to go to the city for Thanksgiving. We were pleasently surprised to find out The Post Room was doing a Thanksgiving Dinner so we booked our reservation. Much to our surprise our dinner experience was fantastic, Not only was the atmosphere great, but the food and service was amazing. I will definately recommend and go again. SMM
2 major problems 1) we sat down, table of 8, table was so small! They brought room temperature soup within 15 minutes, then immediately salad , just finished the soup, they bring the main meal, they just piled them all in the table. The timing was so bad?! Never seen any thing like it. 1) quality of food was very poor, their so called cranberry sauce was an old jam from a jar. They turkey breast was so dry, I could not eat. It was the Worst Thanksgiving food and service experience I have ever had. Will never go back.!! The music was good, piano!
Nice Thanksgiving dinner. Food was traditional, as expected, and quite pleasant. Nice ambience. Excellent wait staff.

To sum up The Post Room in one word would be impeccable! The atmosphere was marvelous, the entertainment was phenomenal and the service was fantastic! I highly recommend The Post Room to anyone who wants to eat mouthwatering food, partake in delicious cocktails, and do this all the while surrounded by beautiful artwork! The staff was so wonderful and attentive My Husband and I will definitely be back! Huge thank you to all of the wonderful wait staff, especially Lance!
Prefixed menu didn't offered kid friendly options. Server refused to provide a couple of options as customized. Manager became aware of our table and offered custom food for my daughter. Her food came later than my own food which was disappointing. Lesson learned will ensure to view the menu prior to booking. I trusted that if they noted a kids prefixed rate would come with kids food.
The quality of food was very good, but they fell short on service in a couple of ways... one of our party of 4 was a coeliac and they brought out sharing appetisers with normal bread, meaning they were inedible for my guest due to cross-contamination. 3 of our mains were brought out at the same time, but it was over 20 mins later when they managed to bring the fourth, which was only a chicken caesar salad. They took it off the bill, but still negatively affected our experience.
What a nice room and great brunch. The service was very professional and personable. We will be back!
These old buildings exude charm and elegance, and I had high hopes for a nice meal before catching a show, but it was a strange dining experience. The cocktails were decent, but overall, the food and service were subpar. The caviar starter was bland, and food was portioned strangely, 2 bowls of fries clearly had more fries than the other 2. The pesto mussels were tasty enough, but the burgers looked sad. Our waitress was nice, but other staff interrupted us several times mid conversation and kept trying to clear our plates despite having indicated we were still eating.
