Several months ago I had mussels here which didn’t taste fresh. They also had a slightly off taste. Since they weren’t that bad, I ate a few more hoping the next ones would be better. They weren’t.Concerned that it wouldn’t be safe to keep eating the dish, I asked for it to be returned to the kitchen. The waitress was reluctant but then did so. The manager then refused to take the partially eaten dish off the bill and accused me of eating half of it (which I didn’t do and even then the mussels were definitely not fresh and possibly not safe). The manager also said they were fresh from the morning but I do not believe that…It was embarrassing in front of my friends to argue with a restaurant about a dish that 1) tasted bad, 2) was possibly unsafe and 3) was only partially eaten. I ended up paying the full price of the dish too. I was disappointed in the food and even more so in the way the manager handled the situation / gaslit me over a few bucks

First stop for brunch in San Francisco, and it’s unfortunate that it was a huge disappointment! I always try to be a patient diner, but there is a point when you have to call out poor customer service and rudeness. First, there was not one, but 2 signs that indicated to wait to be seated and my party of 4 stood there waiting to be seated for several minutes looking at a mostly empty restaurant. Finally, someone waved us over, handed menus, and told us to sit where ever. After sitting at the table for over 20 minutes without being acknowledged and other tables being served we decided it was time to leave. It’s truly an unfortunate situation and don’t want to assume the worst, but situations like this make it hard not to.

Deep fried calamari was chewy, mussels and clams were exceptionally fishy. My SO and myself came for their happy hour, on arrival we were told there is no happy hour. I wouldn't return and would happily spend money else where. The beers and cocktails were good.

Great food and great location. Especially chrizo scramble was very delicious. The only disappointing thing was their drinks.
